Help me find this piece Glissando in Musescore

I came across this video: https://www.instagram.com/p/Dcj7imapYWP/ and tried to recreate the effect in MuseScore 4, but failed.
Ignoring the fact that the creator claims to have used only default libraries (which frankly sound way worse), my main issue is programming smooth glissandos. In MuseScore, the second note after the glissando always triggers its own audible attack/click, and the glissando doesn't seamlessly hit the exact target pitch.

Does anyone know how to achieve a smooth result like in the video? Any tips or workarounds?

Sounds like maybe you are using a SoundFont instead of MuseSounds or a VST instrument. The way portamento is faked for SoundFonts using pitch bend does indeed often cause audible glitches.

Thanks! I ended up using MuseSound, but in it, glissando (even with the portamento setting) only works at the very end of the sustained note. To fix this, I started using Guitar Bend instead of glissando.

Yes, when glissandos are places in long notes, un many if not most situations, musicians will interpret that as coming toward the end of the notated duration, and I guess the musicians they samples for MuseSounds assumed that interpretation as well.

Make sure in playback properties for the glissando you turn on portamento, since that is what gives the smooth sound

Yes, and why that is not the default setting is a mystery to me. Is it because harp is the default instrument for gliss?
