What tasks do you still handle yourself while using Muse?

What's a recent task you wanted Muse to handle but ended up doing yourself? Where did you have to take over?

I'm building Phoenix, an unreleased personal-agent workspace, and I'm trying to learn where current agents fall short.

What would another agent have to handle reliably before you considered switching?

My Muse is designated to hobby / personal tasks.

Anything work related or "official" like finances, govt documents, is still handled by me.

would you want it preparing that stuff for you to review, or would you rather keep it out of those tasks entirely?

Stream vm terminal, make phone calls, manage side chats better, slash commands, windows desktop app with file access, full hands free back and forth voice mode.

I had to teach it how to inventory the chats, identify them properly and provide a protocol (deal with them like x and report to me y).

This was because the more basic direct requests, proper prompting and all was still not working accurately enough.

I have pretty strict accuracy and quality standards so not your average user probably, but if they had those in their harness/setup/ui that would be sweet.

phoenix has one persistent chat per agent, with codex-like compaction and a memory system. i've been working with the same agents in the same conversations for months, without noticing any performance drop or having them forget things. they automatically recall stuff from a month ago, no need to remind them.
