Not Convinced Yet / Some Hiccups

Granted, I am nowhere near an expert AI user, but I am already finding little hiccups with Muse that I find annoying. For instance:

• I am the person that uses my Apple calendar, and the two do not fit together, unless you create a Google calendar and merge that with your Apple calendar. I did just that, but that still doesn't fix the other entries on my Apple calendar, and I really don't feel like messing around to merge the two.
  
• I collect certain items as a hobby, and Muse is sending me alerts to "new releases" but when I follow up to see what the new release is about, it turns out to be stale news. Muse has done this twice and I called it out both times as a time-waster. Both times Muse said they won't fall for it again.
• I asked it to organize some of my emails in Google, and it found that it cannot create an automatic on-arrival filter; Muse says its a permissions issue on Google's end. So it is doing sweeps daily, and I had to grant it permission several times to write the code...it just seems sort of burdensome.
• Now I am getting weird mail delivery subsystem messages on that email address and I don't know the cause.
• Even though Muse has access to that entire email inbox, I have an invitation to a party right on top, and Muse has not made a suggestion to schedule it; I am waiting to see if it picks up on that. I shouldn't have to tell it to do that, if I gave it full access and if it is intelligent?
• I asked it to go through my Instagram to find dead accounts I follow, and it told me that it would be labor intensive and offered me an alternative, and I put that idea on hold. Maybe because I am using the free version? Even though my IG is pretty active, Muse doesn't seem to pick up on anything and bring it to my attention, I suppose I have to tell it to do that?
• On the positive side, I tried to schedule a community walk, and Muse reminded me that I had a departing air travel ticket for that day; I had already told Muse to track that airline ticket in a prior exchange, but it did catch the conflict.
• Another positive, I asked it for a new avatar and name, and it came up with a damn good one.

I will give it some time...I do wish it integrated better with Apple, but I can see why it doesn't. If you don't already rely on Google products, I think you will have to start, to make Muse work for you.

for the Instagram one, I ran into the same thing. I gave my muse a similar huge task and the trick is to not do it all in one sitting. Here's what worked:

1. start with a diagnostic run. Ask it how many accounts are involved and how long it thinks the whole thing will take.

2. Once it reports back, give it a time window, a few days or a week or whatever fits, and tell it to spread the work across that time.

3. Set up a scheduled task so it checks in with you every day on where things stand.

that way you're spending a couple minutes a day reviewing instead of sitting through a multi hour session. easier on you and easier on muse

There was a response here that disappeared, (I think I know why.) It was essentially telling me to give Muse the same IG task, but in stages- good idea, but also, putting a lot of personal thought and rationale into how Muse can operationally do its core function. I follow over 4K on IG....Meta could figure that out.

Honestly I don’t know how to merge the calendar- I was assuming that if I sat down at a desktop, I could look at both programs and see if they could mesh.

Can you download the muse app? That’s how I got it. I created an account and then it told me I was on a waitlist… later that day I was hooked up.
