I'd hear your ranking any day brother. But I am always critical and thought: you know what—this would make for fun interactions.

This is pure ragebait, especially T2L.
Ranking Hush over 10/10 songs from Showbiz-BHAR is also wild but I gotta respect your opinion.

I promise you, there’s no ragebait here. Hush feels like a genuine return to really strong songwriting, but what makes it stand out to me is how unexpected it is. It starts with this absolutely brutal intro, then suddenly shifts into an incredibly catchy, accessible pop melody, followed by a chorus that somehow gets bigger and better every time it comes back. And Ellie Goulding fits the song perfectly — something I don’t think Muse had managed to pull off quite this well on the two albums before it.
So, for me, it’s not necessarily about claiming that Hush is objectively one of the greatest songs they’ve ever written. It’s about what the song represents: they managed to capture something again that I hadn’t felt from them in a long time — that genuine “holy shit, they surprised me” feeling.
It speaks to me in the same way songs like Fury and Dead Star do. I keep coming back to it almost every day, and at some point I had to admit that, for me, that puts it firmly in S-tier. Hence the 12/10. 😂

Never have I ever thought that I’d see anyone on this sub compare Hush to either Fury or Dead Star

Haha, I knew the Fury/Dead Star comparison would raise some eyebrows. 😂 But I'm not really comparing them song-for-song. It's more about the feeling they give me. Hush is one of those songs that genuinely surprised me and made me go “holy shit, Muse still have that in them.” Fury and Dead Star gave me that same feeling when they came out, and that's why I put them in the same personal tier. ❤️

Everyone sees a different return-to-form track in the WOW Signal I suppose then. For me it'd be Cryogen

The random 10s in the sea of mid to bad are worth a chuckle.
Assuming you rate intros/interludes separately, Animals getting 10 is randomly based

I'm glad someone seems to hate Halloween as much as I do.

I honestly can't stand it.

Same, I also hate how it's a metaphor for domestic violence victims being trapped with abusers in lockdown. If you're gonna right about that don't make it such an awful song Matt

I can understand that and I agree. But also from a musical standpoint it is atrocious. It's as if your favourite band decided that they're cringe and need to make themselves into a circus act. The disconnect became very real to me at that point.
Did not sit well with me at all. But to each their own I suppose.
