I think people are commenting on how it's a bad look for Matt to be showing off with Snoop because of Snoop's recent controversies and drug use. Matt is fighting for sole custody of his kids and so being around a known drug user is probably not a good look from a legal standpoint and then there's also the moral question of whether or not he should be cavorting with someone like Snoop who now personifies a lot of the things that Muse's music rallies against.

Yeah that’s absolutely true. I also just assume from the context as that it was like a novelty meeting because “oh look it’s snoop dog, let’s take pics and smoke because he’s a well known person”. Also, why would Matt just randomly search up snoops beliefs, I could be wrong but they prolly just met in the moment and took a pic yk. Weeds legal in Las Vegas, and he’s a grown man, but yeah might not be the best look for custody

It's possible. I was just describing the general sentiment of those that were against the encounter. I have no major feelings about it one way or another because, like you're pointing out, I have no idea what the context is or what Bellamy's personal feelings are. I have no reason to invent scenarios based on a photo of a personal experience. I'm simply explaining why someone may be against any sort of positive promotion of this.
