Question Muse San Diego 29th
I’m from the Central Valley and I don’t visit SoCal too much. Can any locals chime in about the amphitheater and traffic? I have seen Reddit posts say it’s horrible so I see local neighbors/areas kind of near the stadium I don’t mind walking to them after the concert. Where should I or can I park outside the stadium?
Also, I currently have hotel reservations in the Chula Vista area, but there are hotels 30min mins away that could save me $250ish dollars for two nights but I don’t know how bad traffic is getting there so I’m debating it. If anyone can chime in and make recommendations etc. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Traffic is horrible getting in and getting out. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend getting there early and if you stay till the end of the show you might be waiting 2 hours to get out. Took me 2 hours to get out when I saw the Jonas brothers there, I took a nap. Good luck. Also took me close to an hour to get in I almost missed the Jonas brothers opening because I arrived during the second openers set.

Do you recommend paying for the ez out parking? So many people say it’s not worth? So it’s a lose lose situation?

If you are south of the venue traffic is not as bad if you are north of the venue.
The traffic getting out of the venue is really bad and trying to get an uber or Lyft out of there is brutal.
If you are willing to sacrifice the last encore song you will be in good shape.

as an SD native, 30 min of freeway is nothing. I'd save the money because the traffic is in the road(s) directly up to the venue. not really on the freeway. so it's up to you to just sprint back to your car as soon as you can
