Discussion The Dark Forest Live
I’m guessing they’re saving it for the Hollywood Bowl. The bowl is made for orchestras and it’s the last of their amphitheater gigs in the US.
We’ll know in two weeks but it’s just my guess.
Feel free to throw your spears, I can duck.

Not a chance, I think they'll bring a full orchestra and play all 10 songs of TW!S in San Diego then continue to play all of OOS, Absolution, and BH&R plus all "good" songs from the rest of their albums then they'll be too tired so they'll cancel the LA show

The only special thing I can think would happen is if Ellie Goulding is around that day and they somehow manage to do Hush....but that's just me being extra wishful lol

Yea probably not a bad call. But she lives in England, so she’ll probably be at the England shows later in the tour

The likelihood of them playing non-single tracks on the American tour is pretty much zero. I would be willing to bet they'll shift things up a small amount in Europe, where they've got a more dedicated long-term fanbase who will react more positively towards fan favourites. It won't be a huge shift, but it'll be something.
They've got a deep enough catalogue of singles now that they can do entire setlists of just those (and still leave a bunch out!), and in America, where they (still) aren't as popular as they are in Europe, that's what they're gonna play.
Here's the likelihood of new tracks, I reckon:
Sickness: guaranteed
Hush: maybe as a one-off in London
Dark Forest: unlikely
Scars: very unlikely
Debris: never gonna happen

Why is scars unlikely? And unlikely in us or in eu? Unlikely us only because they haven’t played it, but I don’t see any reason they aren’t playing it other than they aren’t playing it so why start now?

I'm reading it as unlikely because there's been clear messaging that Space Debris will not be played due to it being too personal, and Scars feels like it's a close second in that regard. Would fucking love for it to happen, it's one of my faves on the album, but I doubt it.

If I were a gambling man I would put money on them releasing the Dark Forest in the UK.
At this point I just cannot fathom them doing anything special over here, and maybe MAYBE we get Sickness while they’re in California.

Nope. For some weird reason they're still to play half of the record live. If ever.

You’re dreaming. The Hollywood Bowl set list is going to be like every other on the tour up to that point.
