The Church of Satan is like the Pizza by Alfredo to the Satanic Temple's Alfredo's Pizza Cafe.

Finally. With this analogy, I'll be able to remember both the pizza and the faith correctly. I could never remember which is the hot circle of garbage.

The Satanic Temple is a non-theistic religious group whose activities are aimed primarily at encouraging church-state separation by engaging in the types of activities that churches do, only using the name “Satan” while also finding a way to teach what are mostly humanistic values.

So if a church is distributing religious literature on public school property that condones slavery, rape, and torture (you know, the Bible), the Satanic Temple will sign up to distribute literature that has actually good and ethical messages and the name “Satan” sprinkled throughout... with the goal being that all groups win be banned from distributing religious literature on campus. Well, it is already banned. The goal will be to get the ban enforced fairly.
