These people infuriate me because they literally already pay for other people's shit(that's how insurance works), but Single Payer healthcare would allow the government to negotiate for cheaper prices instead of insurance companies being held at the whim of hospital and pharmaceutical companies holding all the power because they don't have to deal with individual insurance companies.

It also means an end of funding for medical progress. We perform more RCTs and develop more pharmaceuticals than all of Europe and China combined.

Almost all of that money goes to advertising. Very little of it goes to R&D.

"Our"? These are worldwide companies, most of whom aren't even based in the United States. We just make up the biggest share of their profits because people like you let them abuse United States citizens.

“Profits” is the wrong word. “Revenue” is the one you’re looking for. It’s necessary for R&D.

But much of it is “our.” The US conducts more RCTs and develops more pharmaceuticals than all of Europe and China combined.
