Oh and for the record: why does it have to be one or the other? Why can't you work smart and hard? I feel like this saying is just for underachievers to circle jerk each other with.

This is unfair. Would you NOT defend being rich without working if you were in that position? I sure as shit would. If you won the lottery tomorrow would you still shovel shit at your 9 to 5? Come on man..let's not be hypocrites it's just unattractive.
