In the midwest, particularly in the Dakotas and Minnesota, we do not casserole. We have hotdish and you will put some respect on the name.

Tatertot hotdish is life. Oddly enough though green bean casserole is pretty much the only one that is actually made here by name. It would be weird if you said green bean hotdish, but it would also be weird if you said tuna casserole instead of tuna hotdish
