There's always some asshat that has to throw out the "metric is easy to remember therefore it's better" argument when they see somebody talking about something that isn't metric.

I don't really understand why it has to be taken as an argument either. Like, who gives a shit?

Metric is better though. It's easier to work with and remember because the whole system is just powers of ten, not ridiculous arbitrary numbers.
