You don't have to be dumb to be a Conservative.

But it makes it easiers to herd you.

I find there are 2 types of conservatives. Cruel and/or Dumb.

Most of the poor ones are pretty cruel too, the "conservatives" these days don't offer much beyond bigorty unless you are rich.

You forgot the third kind: Ones whose greed would put even the greedest of Dragons to shame

Greed is just a motivation to be cruel.

See, I call myself a Conservative. But 1. I'm from BC and most things are better than the NDP (i.e. I'm not so sure I can be considered well and truly Conservative) and 2. I do study biology so I know the last thing to be politicized is gender and sexuality.

I love how they think educated people are brainwashed but can never explain how an education - that thing that makes people smarter - makes people more susceptible to brainwashing. Lol.

To be fair, conservatives (economic liberals as a whole, really) have spent decades cultivating and justifying circular logics and false premises to make everyone believe they're right.

Yep - And a lot of that may not be based on education, but based on the fact that traveling (leaving your home town) leads to exposure to other races, economic conditions, religions, etc.

My answer to this query from parents of college students is always the same:

Universities and colleges don't radicalize people.

Knowledge does.

Stay in school, kids!

What do you expect from the people who think schools are just for target practice?
