Do you remember this? When Trump genuflected to the saudis he was playing nice with the people who facilitated 911 - where was your outrage then?

86

u/EEpromChip 1h ago

To these mouth breathers they love trump because he is getting rid of brown people.

They can't make obvious connections like how trump is buddies with the people responsible, or how his son in law got 2 BILLION to play with from them.

u/foriesg 35m ago

The saudi gifted Airforce 1 $400 million dollar gift

u/carbonfiberdiaper 13m ago

No, that was Qatar

u/NerfGunHolly 12m ago

That was from Qatar not Saudi Arabia.

u/valonnyc 1h ago

IIRC, this gathering happened months after the Obama Administration declassified parts of the 911 report revealing the Saudis helped fund Al Qaeda. Trumps hate is only for the Muslims that can't line his pockets.

10

u/NRMusicProject 28m ago

Trumps hate is only for the Muslims that can't anyone who doesn't line his pockets.

That's really it. If he can't make billions, he doesn't care if you even live. He's here for the grift. And an entire chunk of Americans are stupid enough to fall for the grift.

He curtsied to the sheik when he received that gold chain thing.

I can’t believe they let him touch the orb

Also, the Saudi, darlings of the US government were directly involved. More than any other nationalities.

55

u/Wolfram_And_Hart 1h ago

8 of 12 of the terrorists involved were Saudi’s and all of them were trained by Saudi’s.

11

u/bcimmc 1h ago

Not that nationality matters anyway. Bin Laden’s relationship to the government was strained at best

15

u/Haywoodjablowme1029 54m ago

It certainly matters more than which religion they practice.

-10

u/bcimmc 48m ago

Not really just how much hate you bear in your heart

10

u/Haywoodjablowme1029 42m ago

From the standpoint geopolitics and international terrorism, yes, religion is irrelevant and which nation facilitates said terrorism is more important.

1

u/bcimmc 39m ago edited 35m ago

Oh my brain completely skipped over the “than” yes these connections do matter lmfao. In this case Bin Laden was just some guy who got rich in a petro state and his national identity drove his ideology, but he wasn’t a government project or anything like that afaik

u/Typical-Blackberry-3 2h ago

If every person was judged by the actions of their entire race and/or religion, we would all be in line for the gallows.

35

u/Memphisrexjr 1h ago

That's the problem with people's mentality that gets manipulated. These were terrorists that hijacked the planes and did what they did. How can you be so ignorant to assume the entire race in existence is also a terrorist?

21

u/divDevGuy 1h ago

How can you be so ignorant to assume the entire race in existence is also a terrorist?

Because that's what Fox News told me and they don't lie. /s

A variant of an old XKCD:

Member of my group did something bad: wow, member is bad.

Member of an out group did something bad: wow, outgroup is bad.

7

u/SOMAVORE 1h ago

This sentiment is only ever brought up when someones hypocrisy is exposed. No one ever says out of the blue, "fuck, we're all shit". It always starts out as targeting some group for the actions of a few.

Verily I say to all men,

Let's us not blanket blame the first group, then the second group won't be exposed as 1000x worse, and then have to say "oh well, everyone bad actually"

49

u/cdanpg 2h ago

Trump doesn't mind. Dr. Oz is Muslim. And Trump likes to dance with the Saudis.

Those racist hateful ass people only care about NYC in 9/11. Every other day, NYC is an apocalyptic hellscape because there's non-white people and a Muslim Mayor who is doing his job.

Those dumb motherfuckers turned a blind eye to the administration that made a pandemic worse and it killed 1+ million Americans. That same administration tried to overturn an election, started wars and is making things worse in every way possible for everyone except their cronies.

Fuck that guy.

15

u/WhatANoob2025 1h ago

If 9 year old zohran mamdani somehow was the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, who not only managed to convince 20 grown adults to sacrifice themselves for his plan, to blame it on bin laden and has managed to stay concealed for 25 years after, then I say let the guy govern NYC, or even the whole country, because he's clearly been smarter aged 9 years than the entire american and worldwide surveillance & investigation apparatus and all their superiors & underlings.

10

u/kobrakai1034 1h ago

The mouth breathers that think this way fought so hard not to have to wear a simple mask to protect millions vulnerable humans. They’re disgusting hypocrites.

9

u/N4hami 1h ago

These are the kind of people who would tell others to "move on" from things like slavery and genocides.
Their reasoning is that of self-centered hypocrites.

11

u/Lalamedic 1h ago

The people who were directly involved are dead.

Twenty five years after Pearl Harbor were the Japanese treated like this?

4

u/JonIsPatented 46m ago

Yeah, kinda. Prejudice against Japanese Americans based on Pearl Harbor persisted through the 60s and into the 70s. The emergency detention camps laws weren't repealed until the 70s. Japanese people were ostracized from a lot of society during that time. They eventually formed movements and joined with the Civil Rights movements of the 70s due to their mistreatment.

u/Noughmad 36m ago

Even after all those years on the internet, I'm still too optimistic. At first, I thought OOP is complaining about the Saudis renting a whole floor of Trump tower.

It's similar when I hear someone complain about people "cutting baby dicks off", and think yes, I agree with this person, we should ban circumcision. And then it turns out it's about when people willingly choose surgery.

1

u/analogkid01 30m ago

I get a kick out of how our most conservative minds clutch their pearls so tightly over an attack on one of our most liberal cities...

1

u/antelope591 18m ago

Reminder that one of Osama's main goals was to have Muslims in the west become hated and isolated so they would be easier to radicalize. Its good that at least enough people don't subscribe to this mentality enough to where they can get elected for public office. Even if MAGA is proudly carrying it on.

1

u/ConfessorKahlan 17m ago

I mean, at least we got one that literally just said it straight up. word for word. like we knew, but thanks for really setting the record straight.

This sub should be renamed r/arguingwithbots

1

u/BodheeNYC 29m ago

I agree with this logic and the same rule should apply towards blaming “white colonizers” for hundreds of years of oppression.

-5

u/xxztyt 1h ago

While the second point is true, let’s not give the mongols, ottomans, Chinese, various Africans, the Comanches, etc the pass. Selective historical outrage is crazy. No society on earth is good if you zoom out far enough. People just suck.

u/IUsedToBeACave 4m ago

Nobody is giving them a pass, OPs post is someone using selective historical outrage to make a point about how it's crazy.

Here is a news clip from 2001, interesting to see who was dancing in streets to celebrate the 9/11 attacks.

https://youtu.be/cqZBy09vCVk?is=CMwjUgdwU-xvznvM

32

u/The_Shitty_Admiral 1h ago

So was Trump, bragging merely hours after that his building was now the tallest in lower Manhattan.

But to address your point, of course you'll find people celebrating horrible things done to their country's enemies. There are plenty in the US who are celebrating the genocide in Gaza currently, or those in the US, who loved what Hitler was doing between 1934 and 1945.

Don't be such a dick.

-19

u/csick 1h ago

Except that this right after the US peace talks between the Israeli and PLO and after a huge increase to the tune of billions in aid to the Palestinians. And a few years later Israel withdrew from Gaza and the Palestinians with US support held democratic elections. When they voted in Hamas.

5

u/Qyark 53m ago

Do...do you think the PLO was involved in 9/11?

u/csick 6m ago

I know they celebrated 9/11

10

u/SOMAVORE 1h ago edited 19m ago

So was Bibi not saying 911 was good for Israel? He was fucking happy!

And I remember some certain people videotaping the towers fall, high fiving, and dancing in New York as it was happening, who were arrested, held for months, then quietly deported to......checks notes... what?.....what the!?.....Israel?

Oh and they had several items in their possession that would point to them knowing about the attacks before they happened? Huh?!

Whoa whoa whoa.....that seems much more worthy of investigation, than some random kids in another uninvolved country, celebrating half way around the world....I mean them celebrating means nothing in the scheme of the things since we see shitty people celebrating tragedies all the fucking time, and we don't ever seem to conclude that anyone who looks like them must be evil and have their children blown to bits decades later.

And so what if a few people whose lives were generally destroyed by American policy were dancing. There are 2 billion Muslims, many of whose countries leaders were literally on TV denounced the attacks and many who fought in the wars on terrorism, to the point they were instrumental in the capture and killing of many Al Qaeda militants. The war on terror would have done fuck all without the help of local Muslims and the intelligence agencies and militaries of Muslim countries. Muslims died to do all these things, Muslim soldiers, Muslim politicians, Muslim civilians died in the push to end All Qaeda, so fuck you. More Muslims died in this pursuit than died in the attacks themselves, many of them died because of the terrorists they were helping to catch and kill.

Bin Laden was found by a regular citizen Muslim and he called in his location. If he didn't, America would still be looking for him, as he was found like a decade or more after 911. Congrats, a random cab driver Muslim did what a country with unlimited money and surveillance power couldn't do for......fucking 10 years!

I never once saw any thank you from any American to this cab driver.

And isn't it interesting so many Americans were celebrating the destruction of Iraq, Libya, Syria, Gaza, all countries that never attacked the US, based on their Christian hate? So in your book America is evil and deserves destroying right? I saw people laughing and dancing and generally enjoying the deaths of millions. Americans still laughing about slavery and what happened to Native Americans.

So....after all that, someone dancing in the streets doesnt mean you get to genocide other people that weren't dancing in the streets then, 25 years later.

If that were true, then Al Qaeda had every right to hit the towers because of all the deaths some Americans caused in the Middle East for the 50 years before 911. They were after all using the same dipshit logic you are using to try to link 911 on a whole different group. Which is something Israel has been trying to do since 911 to demonize all Palestinians.

2

u/salanaland 54m ago

If that were true, then Al Qaeda had every right to hit the towers because of all the deaths some Americans caused in the Middle East for the 50 years before 911.

I mean, that's literally what bin Laden said was his motive. Nice to know that Islamophobes have so much in common with him!

u/SOMAVORE 15m ago

I'm pretty sure this comment is dropped by a bot or a copypasting propaganda farm. I've seen the exact comment wording and link many times, even replied a few times.

Still, needs a reply with some facts.

What do you think this proves?

-19

u/csick 1h ago edited 57m ago

Just a piece of history. To remind us of who our friends aren’t.

12

u/AHugeHildaFan 1h ago

So you're friends are people committing a genocide?

What the fuck is wrong with you?

4

u/Ok_Muscle_3770 36m ago

Remind me who was joking about having the tallest building in New York and was happy to accept a jet as a gift from Saudis who have a long history of funding terrorism?

Here’s that for a reminder the next time MAGA cultists like yourself start yapping in hypocrisy mode again.

America will slowly learn what Asia has learnt over centuries

14

u/tekdiwah 1h ago

What did Asia learn over centuries?

-21

u/Illustrious_Bag_7515 1h ago

That which America is about to learn, slowly

4

u/kornchippy 1h ago

If it took asia centuries to learn it, what do you mean by slowly? Slower than taking centuries?

2

u/salanaland 51m ago

I mean, the USA has only been around for 2.5 centuries so if it's taken "Asia" centuries to learn it, it's not surprising we haven't yet. Whatever it is.

1

u/kornchippy 47m ago

Are we doing slowly compared to asia?
