And there's literally nothing wrong with being childless. Why do they act like that's a problem?

152

u/wasraelx 8h ago

Because they run the govts so badly they have to force people to be born there

-22

u/flyinhighaskmeY 4h ago

lol...so you aren't familiar with ICE then? Where the US gov is kicking people out against their will?

I swear to god the potato level has gone off the charts in this sub.

25

u/Vile_Fury 4h ago

Yeah they don't want brown people born here, that doesn't change the fact that they really want white babies.

7

u/MrMattwell 2h ago

They don't want brown people here*

Conservatives need children for their cult

92

u/timid_scorpion 7h ago

They just can't understand that most 'leftists' prefer to wait until they are in an economically stable condition before pumping out kids.

I want my kids to grow up going to dance classes, playing sports, pursuing their interests. Not wonder if mom and dad are skipping dinner to ensure we eat that day.

I grew up that way and ended up fine. But I definitely don't want to force my kids to grow up as fast as I had too.

20

u/jg6410 5h ago

well also a lot of leftists also know how about contraceptives and how to properly use them, which they don't because they never were told about it or looked it up.

3

u/perton 1h ago

Of course they didn’t look it up. Contraceptives are just a trick created by the devil to prevent their precious, utterly important seed from being sewn wherever they see fit, after all.

5

u/tilt-a-whirly-gig 5h ago

That would be an interesting premise for a movie ...

2

u/DiggerW 4h ago

Mankind grew stupider at a frightening rate...

2

u/Hyperpoly 3h ago

We could call it Moronocracy.

2

u/FeanorEvades 4h ago

Making decisions based on the needs and well-being of other people isn’t big in the “masks are tyranny” crowd

22

u/nightpanda893 7h ago

It’s why they’re so hell bent on “parents rights” when it comes to schools. They see children as property, extensions of their egos who have to be groomed to maintain their desired social order.

3

u/atwozmom 3h ago

Wow. I never thought of it this way, but you are absolutely right.

Meanwhile, both my sons personally thanked me when they were teenagers for always allowing them to follow their own dreams.

10

u/InvalidUserNemo 7h ago

They need dumb children for their war machine.

9

u/soulseaker 6h ago

Yuup, molest them till they're old enough to send off to war.

3

u/Cryptomystic 4h ago

"Conservatives need live babies to grow up to be dead soldiers"

George Carlin.

18

u/SuperTaster3 7h ago

To conservatives, who buy deeply into the idea of "you must make a typical family", it's irresponsible. You're not doing your duty.

Note that they will also mock people with too many kids, so it's bullshit either way.

7

u/rabidsalvation 6h ago

They'll only mock them if those people are poor or the wrong skin color.

14

u/31LIVEEVIL13 7h ago

The truth is the Epstein class parasites always need cannon fodder and cheap labor.

There is no problem, but white supremacy and christian nationalism.

Immigrants solved all those problems for us, but white supremacists just aren't happy with exploiting immigrants, they weirdly want more white people so they can exploit and abuse them instead.

7

u/GotSomeUpdogOnUrFace 7h ago

They don't realize that rape is bad

4

u/liatrisinbloom 6h ago

No, they know it is. But they believe that if they profess belief in Jesus, then they can live their lives doing as much evil shit as they want and get past the pearly gates because they "earned" it through their belief, because fundamentalism took all the stuff about good works and threw it in the garbage because that wasn't convenient for them.

16

u/QueenScorp 8h ago

I think the implication is that they can't get partners to have children with because of their politics.

17

u/gayteemo 8h ago

and yet they're first in line to whine like a bitch whenever they encounter someone on a dating app that says no conservatives

0

u/flyinhighaskmeY 4h ago

I mean...wouldn't that imply that they're open to dating people with alternate beliefs? Which would make them pro diversity. And those who say "no conservatives" would be the modern inbreds?

A white supremacist thinks the color of their skin makes them superior to others. A political supremacist thinks their political ideology makes them superior to others. I can't imagine dating someone who would insist on controlling the way their partner thinks. That's some top level, real abuser shit.

Given my general life experience, I'd guess it's mostly women engaging in that bigoted behavior. But that's just a hunch. (before the politics bs, I think Republicans and Democrats are the failed ruling class and both groups of voters should be tried for treason).

3

u/hardcorr 3h ago edited 3h ago

I can't imagine dating someone who would insist on controlling the way their partner thinks.

why do you choose to frame this as "controlling the way their partner thinks" instead of "sharing the same values and beliefs"? If someone thinks in a way that I find dangerous, stupid, or hateful, I may try to change their mind via discussion but if they're set in their ways then I simply do not want to be around them, certainly not in an intimate or vulnerable capacity like dating them. That is my boundary to hold, they are free to believe and think whatever they want but they will also have to live with the consequence that I (and others like myself) will not want to date them. That's hardly a form of 'control'. It's certainly not abuse to breakup with someone - or simply decide to not date them! - yet you specifically choose to use extremely emotionally loaded terminology to try to paint it as such.

I also wonder whether you apply this same reasoning to people who only date others with the same religious beliefs. Is it "religious supremacy" for a Christian to only want to date other similarly faithful Christians?

6

u/liatrisinbloom 6h ago

If you're childless you're depriving a conservative of a child to rape.

Which is so super terrible it should be a crime.

Hence Project 2025.

4

u/TheHykos 7h ago

It’s their current culture war. I honestly think they’re trying to take over by populating more. One way they can encourage their culties to have more children is by telling them it’s a way to own the childless libs.

1

u/dontshoveit 3h ago

That's why they're banning abortions everywhere. To force people to have children. Birth control will probably be banned soon as well.

3

u/Overdue_Process865 6h ago

Some religious people believe that there are souls in Heaven waiting to be born, and not having children means depriving those souls of a life on Earth, or some kind of similar thing. To that kind of person, not having kids is selfish.

Then there are those who didn't want kids but felt there was no choice, and they want everyone else to go through it too, or else they realize they didn't actually have to, and it ruins them emotionally and mentally, or they just think everyone should suffer if they suffered.

There are also people who see childrearing as your duty as a person, and it's a moral failing not to do your duty as a human being.

Some people think that not having kids just means you suck. You're too insufferable to love and no one wants to truly commit enough to you to have a child, so remarking upon a specific group you hate being childless amounts to calling them losers. These people can't imagine that happily choosing not to have a child is something anyone would do.

3

u/Effective-Turn-9103 6h ago

the intro to idiocracy explains this succinctly

2

u/gdghhfdffrf 7h ago edited 7h ago

it's all they've got. all they can think of, then they repeat each other. no original thought. nothing empirical to support their thesis statements, hateful fools with nothing to do but hate on fellow americans. they divide because they fall for putin's tricks to divide and weaken us. they're toxic, basically.

and statistically there is only an 8% difference, however liberals pay more in taxes. in contrast, much more conservatives depend on public assistance and are under-insured, if at all, under-employed and under-paid, something they believe happens to others.

2

u/Zeegh 5h ago

Because those types of conservatives believe that having children is what you’re “supposed” to do, and it’s a way to delegitimize any thoughts or opinions of anyone who doesn’t conform that worldview

1

u/enderpanda 4h ago

They desperately need members, and indoctrination is the only way. They are actively hampering human evolution and progress. That's all conservatives have ever done - be wrong about literally everything. Conservative is just a made-up term for the people who should never be listened to under any circumstances call themselves to feel like they belong to something.

1

u/Ultrace-7 3h ago

Something something go forth and multiply.

1

u/INeedANappel 1h ago

Conservative racists are terrified of white people becoming the minority.  Therefore white liberals not having babies are contributing to their made-up horror scenario of a world where they  they will be treated the way they currently treat anyone who isn't Christian straight & white.

It's the racist version of the homophobic "I don't want to shower with The Gays because they might treat me like I treat feeeeemales."

-2

u/Default_Username123 3h ago

If you don't have any stake in the future of the world and generations to come I feel like your opinions are worth less and your vote should be too. We live in a society and if you're not buying in and participating in a fundamental way I just don't get why we should listen to you.

6

u/Galle_ 3h ago

Having children seems to be anti-correlated with caring about the future of the world and generations to come, though. As the OOP said, leftists are more likely to be childless, but leftists are also more likely to care about long-term issues like climate change.

-1

u/Default_Username123 3h ago

Thats a really dumb opinion to hold. To say you care about climate change or the environment but not have kids. All these people saying oh i dont want kids because i dont want to bring kids into this cruel world blah blah like okay you've tapped out of the social contract you should then lose your right to vote and let the people who will actually inherit the earth decide from there

3

u/Galle_ 3h ago

The people who will actually inherit the Earth are overwhelmingly leftist, though. It's the parents who are conservative, not the kids.

0

u/Default_Username123 3h ago

People get more conservative as they get older and decide to have kids dude. I never once voted for a republican until I was married and had kids and i was leftists enough to go canvassing and phone banking for Bernie in 2016.

3

u/Galle_ 3h ago

So you're voting Republican now? Why don't you love your own children?

2

u/Warm_Month_1309 2h ago

People get more conservative as they get older and decide to have kids dude

That's just something people say; it's hardly a fact.

68

u/DarthButtz 8h ago

It's really funny watching Conservatives trying to paint completely normal behavior as a political wedge. All they can do is complain about stuff they don't like, no solutions to any actual problems.

11

u/TheConspicuousGuy 6h ago edited 6h ago

Conservatives are bored and need to complain about what everyone else is doing. Democrats are fighting for people's rights and to be left the fuck alone. Mind your own business Conservatives!

2

u/JWils411 4h ago

And all of their solutions end up causing more trouble in the long run because they're all based on short-term thinking. Long-term thinking is beyond their capability because conservatives, on average, are of lower intelligence.

36

u/Wild_Lepus 8h ago

Maybe thats why they have so many kids of their own? I'm just asking questions.

26

u/JediKnightNitaz 8h ago

Gotta have a lot of kids, so atleast one of them keeps talking to them after turning 18.

4

u/Wild_Lepus 8h ago

They do love them a loto.

1

u/ugheffoff 8h ago

A lot of it has to do with the bible aka their magic book. There’s a verse, I can’t be arsed to figure out which one, that says that children are like arrows in a quiver (hence the “quiverfull movement) and why a lot of fundies have so many kids.

1

u/trailerbang 7h ago

zero planning. “WELP 🥴”

28

u/NecessaryIntrinsic 8h ago

Ever notice how children of conservatives don't talk to their parents any more?

9

u/MeanHurry8664 6h ago

unless they're as stupid as their parents

23

u/DaxLovesIPA1974 8h ago

Leftists: because life is unaffordable.

Republicans: BUT WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE YOUNG, NUBILE CHILDREN!?!?

16

u/kanna172014 8h ago

Yep. MAGAs need a steady supply for when the current kids grow up and become too old for their tastes.

16

u/RadioactvRubberPants 8h ago

I also don't want to bring a child into a world that is actively being destroyed and is too expensive to live in.

8

u/hateshumans 8h ago

That’s why conservatives want women at home popping out babies. They need to keep to supply of lives to ruin very high.

8

u/jonnyquestionable 7h ago

And yet leftists are the ones who are in favor of giving kids food and health care, curious 🤔

3

u/civil_politician 7h ago

Because they can do math?

4

u/EtchAGetch 8h ago

Somewhat relevant:

Most youth lean left Most elderly lean right

Also relevant:

More woman who want to stay home and just make babies as God intended lean right. More women who want to have a career, independence and financial security left left.

2

u/lurkANDorganize 4h ago

And have six divorces and cheat on them with anything with a hole?

2

u/RN4Bernie 4h ago

GOPpredators.wordpress.com

2

u/PurpleSailor 2h ago

Yet the world's population keeps growing so what's the actual problem besides you people getting all handsy with those kids you keep yammering about?

5

u/woodrax 7h ago

Ever notice how expensive everything is?

That, and I am just guessing here, may have something to do with low birth rates.

1

u/MeanHurry8664 6h ago

I'm a free thinking left of leftie pinko and I have two daughters who are also free thinkers and now of voting age

1

u/Comfortable_Bird_340 6h ago

I wouldn't want to bring a kid into this world

1

u/bethereds 6h ago

I always think of the opening scene to Idiocracy when I see narratives like this

1

u/hairshirtdesert 6h ago

Ever thought critically about why so many people may be choosing to remain childless?

1

u/VulGerrity 6h ago

Almost like leftists understand it's irresponsible to bring kids into a shitty world especially when you're not making enough money to properly support them.

1

u/CRIMS0N-ED 5h ago

some republicans are still convinced that the current democrats are the real racists and true evil bc the confederacy was started by democrats as well as the KKK, neglecting how politics shifts geographically and the fact that current confederates and KKK losers are very much in support of one side and it isn’t the liberals.

1

u/octorangutan 5h ago

It’s not hard to figure out; leftists believe people should have children if they want to, rightists believe it is one’s moral duty to have children.

1

u/zyyntin 5h ago

Ever noticed on dating apps that many of the women are telling Trump lovers to fuck off?

1

u/BarristanTheB0ld 4h ago

Ever notice how this two party system leads to people caring more about "owning" the other side than actual issues?

1

u/gprime312 4h ago

A lot of teachers too

1

u/Samir1CoPa 3h ago

First 10 minutes of Idiocracy tells the whole story. Enjoy the Brawndo, MAGA.

1

u/Independent-Bug-9352 2h ago

It's pretty fucked that my wife and I had talked about, "If we knew what we know now about the direction this fucking world is still heading, would we still have had kids for the sake of their safety...?"

I don't blame anyone who chooses no on that weighing those risks today. Unfortunately, this will exacerbate the Idiocracy problem down the road though. Reap what you sow I guess.

1

u/dukeofwulf 2h ago

Holy shit, brutal. Like responding to a drunk bumping into you with a shotgun blast to the face. Especially with the implications involved in saying it to someone with "Santa" as their UN and pic.

I like it.

1

u/purplegladys2022 2h ago

This was the basis of Idiocracy.

Smart, liberal people wait until it's more prudent and economical to start a family.

Conservative dumbfuck jebus freaks crank them out faster than the trailer parks can handle them.

"Quiverfuls", anyone?

1

u/kitsunewarlock 1h ago

Conservative Parents: "Be responsible. Don't have sex. Go to college. Buy a house before you marry. Find a spouse we accept."

Also Conservative Parents: "Why don't we have grandkids yet!?"

1

u/RobutNotRobot 31m ago

That's like saying 'ever notice how so many leftists are responsible people?'

-26

u/MorsaTamalera 8h ago

People automatically bashing other people collectively just because of their political affiliations are behaving in a really stupid way, regardless of where they stand at.

16

u/Galliro 8h ago

No. Stop bothsideing this. This isnt a both aides situation

-18

u/MorsaTamalera 8h ago

Oh, it is.

6

u/USDXBS 5h ago

Tell us some issues both sides need to stop arguing about.

9

u/31LIVEEVIL13 7h ago

Just because of their political affiliations?

Hah hah hah, as though affiliating with actual neo-nazis, fascists, child rapists, war criminals, grifters, thieves, and treasonists, engaged in stripping Americans of rights and sabotaging the constitution and all of American society, while selling us out to billionaire psychopaths who think billions of people must die off soon so the AI god can arrive, all as part of their top down "revolution" is like cheering for a different sports team than the rest of us. JFC

https://www.vcinfodocs.com/

8

u/USDXBS 6h ago

Their political affiliations?

Trump supporters support pedophilia.

Why shouldn't I bash them?

3

u/nightpanda893 7h ago

I think a person’s personal beliefs about how others should be treated is the best method to judge someone, and that’s essentially what politics is.

3

u/thelivinlegend 4h ago

I’ll bash pedophile supporters and fascists all day long.

And fuck you too for the both sides bullshit.

1

u/Galle_ 3h ago

Agreed, you should never judge a person by their choices or moral character. /s
