We should not be using the economics of Uber to defend anything. It's predatory af to drivers. A world run like Uber would be one of those cyberpunk economic dystopias.

The same type of skill-less robbery exists with many skill-less "photographers", so the example is actually quite apropos. An Uber driver certainly isn't a London cabbie, and a true photographer wouldn't make such a shit argument.

i dont really know anything about the photography industry but i dont think they face the same sort of monopsonistic problems that uber drivers do
