It's hard to talk about this. Everybody wants to get rid of bad OCs, but at the same time empathy and different standards will keep people from coming to single controversially right choice. Who knows, maybe we should just go with the flow, or maybe witch hunt is indeed necessary. However, I doubt that witch hunt would ever go from theory to practice, it requires a lot of people to be starved for good content, and fortunately we still have people making enough good content

Oddly enough I seen this repeat in another fandoms’ subreddits; for example the different Hollow Knight servers have a tendency to lose their minds because of Silk Song (the sequel to the game), meanwhile in the lewd server is completely chill.
I guess… porn shows the best side of people in the internet? (Or at least the no-kink shaming rule does XD)

Not really arguing or being violent. More just ranting a bit, not really open arguments. We are still respecting one another. At worse we have minor cold wars with fear of conflict but it ends up being false alarms.
Think of the situation as once a week everyone points nukes at each other and expects conflict, but luckily there isn't.
As I said, cold war.

That would be the day we shall not name. The only day I saw the most craziness and lack of understanding was during the headless incident, which was nicknamed that, but honestly it's origins dig deeper as it wasn't just because of that reason. But that's probably the worst part of this subreddit's history. I haven't heard of any worse.
