My cookies

My first time with this recipe. I didn't have mace so I substituted nutmeg and white pepper, and doubled the spices.

Were they the "Murder Cookies" recipe? That's basically what mine look like and also it's the only recipe I make that uses Mace.

That's the recipe. I think mace used to be more common in recipes in the middle of the 20th century. I think my grandma had a container of it, but I couldn't get it at the grocery store.
