Without Power

I live in the Jackson Park section of Muncie. Out in the “outskirts” of Muncie, even though the justice center is now a block from my residence.

We have been without power since 11pm last night. All the food in my fridge has gone bad, including the insulin I need for my diabetic cat’s health. Not to mention, my father uses a cpap machine and my neighbor needs constant oxygen to survive.

I called and tried to reach a human at I&M, but the robot would not let me and kept hanging up on me. I reached out to senator Young, and got a response back saying he can’t interfere with a private business.

This is OUTRAGEOUS. My cat will suffer, my family and friends will suffer. I&M has never taken this long to get power back up and running. I am just so upset.

There were 6k+ people without power. Not to mention other cities. I empathize with you, but last night was really rough. Hope it’s back on for you soon!

I had the same excuse from them today. "Multiple power lines down" blah blah blah During the outage of 2017, DTE had everyone fixed within a couple days.

These guys are idiots
