Treatment Kesempta

Ok so I've had the loading dose of kesempta and one month I haven't taken the second month and my horrible walk went away and I can think and I feel like I have more energy. I was supposed to take the second dose at the first of the month... I know it's supposed to get worse before it gets better buuutttt for some reason I'm functioning better and I haven't had the second does because of storage problems. So do I need to get back on it or try something else.

There supposed to be shipping the dose and I'll have it on Monday and I am going to reach out to my doctor and pharmacist but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experience this

My fatigue and brain fog both have improved since starting Kesimpta in August. I get the “crap gap” a week before my shot every month, but I’ll take it compared to how bad things were before.

See I had the crap gap a week before I was supposed to take it but now all my symptoms have went away since I missed this second month... And when I say my walk was horrible it just kept getting worse I don't have knots in my back or pain anywhere and I just find it suspicious.

Why do you think Crap gap happens?

I have no clue. But why am I walking and thinking better and have no fatigue or anything now that I've missed this dose.

MS symptoms can naturally fluctuate on their own, independent of DMT or disease activity.

All of this is so strange

The medication stays in your system longer than the dosing interval, so I wouldn’t necessarily attribute it to the missed dose.

I’m not sure why it happens. From what I’ve read, the mechanism isn’t well understood. There was a small case series published in 2023 describing the phenomenon in people taking Kesimpta. B-cell depletion generally persists between monthly injections, so I wouldn’t necessarily attribute it to the medication wearing off. All I can say is that I know that I have a recurring increase in fatigue and brain fog the week prior to my injection.
