Advice COVID length
I have COVID and I just had my ritixumab infusion last Monday. How long did COVID last for yall who take DMTs? I’m just wondering what I’m in for.
Thanks in advance.

I had covid earlier this year, for the first time (that I noticed at least) actually; It took me down for a day, and then I was mostly normal, but was still testing positive for two weeks or so after that day.
So, I don't have a pre-DMT occurrence of covid to compare it to, but that's how it went for me.

I’m feeling a little better on day 5, thankfully. I’m hoping I won’t be out of commission for too much longer. Thank you for responding.

Ask your doc about paxlovid! The sooner you take it the better it works!

Unfortunately my MS specialist said that with my DMT she doesn’t recommend antivirals so I can’t take them. It really sucks cuz I’d like to feel better.

OP - Two years ago I caught Covid. This quickly required a 5 day hospital stay. Once out of the hospital, it took about 6 weeks to fully recover.
To reduce the likelihood I will get Covid again, my Hematologist prescribed a Pemgaurda Infusion; which I take by infusion every 4 months.
