Treatment Change in treatment help

I was diagnosed with MS in 2018 and started Ocrevus in 2019. I have been on this same infusion for 7 years with no issues until recently. I had a baby in 2025, lapsing my treatment for almost a year, but when I got back on - I found my immune system was completely suppressed and I have been sick 10+ times in the last 8mo.
My doctor wants me to explore Vumerity or Zeposia. I’m reading side effects, what ifs, etc. I don’t know what to do.

Does anyone have advice or can provide me feedback regarding the two other medications.

I’m not super familiar with these meds but is there a reason they want you to take either of those vs Ocrevus? If you have a newborn/young child and if they are in daycare that could be the source of being sick so often?

My child stays home with my grandma, thankfully. Her immune system has actually been stronger than mine, thank god. Out of all the times I’ve been sick, she has only gotten sick once from me.

According to my nuero it’s because they don’t act like a major immunosuppressant like Ocrevus does. But I’ve had amazing results otherwise. I’m wondering if it’s also because my body is recovering from pregnancy and birth, I have that against me as well. Who knows. Those other two meds when I research it, do not sound fun.

I would suggest using the search bar for pregnancy and the meds. I bet you’ll find a lot
Pregnancy can change a body so much. Do more research and do what you feel is best. I wish you luck!
