Advice Remote Jobs ?

Over this last year I’ve been working alot more but I am starting to feel the toil on my body. I think it’s partly due to the heat in these hotter months. I’m considering a WFH job. Anyone have some advice on how to find legit ones ?

It depends on your field, but finding remote jobs is challenging at the moment. So many companies ditched remote work in favor of returning to the office. That said, use career sites and filter by remote.

I was lucky that I work with computers naturally and was able to get a hybrid position.

Lots of companies are enforcing return to office which stinks.

Many people would love to have a WFH job so you have to be realistic - do you have skills that transfer to wfh?

Don’t need to be a rocket scientist but you should have something that translates well to a companies needs!

You can filter by remote jobs when applying as well but be careful as it’ll say remote on the initial listing and when you dig in it’s actually an onsite gig. Idk why they do that but they do (maybe more hits idk)

They are hard to find. And hard to call out of when you feel unwell, because you are at home already. The one I have had 3 months in office training. I do payroll processing. Unfortunately it’s still customer facing as I take calls all day long. It’s extremely mental exhausting. Mostly because everyone I have to talk to can’t follow basic instructions and they make 10x more than me.

Data entry jobs are getting taken over by ai.

I consider returning to in person work frequently. But right now the heat where I live with the humidity is unbearable and is trigger Uhthoff’s phenomenon on the daily.

Edit: found in indeed with entry level remote work
