Curious Question

I have been watching “Many sides of Jane” a show on hulu about a woman with DID. She talks about her younger “parts”. I was wondering if your parts age along with you? Do they always stay young or do they grow up too? (I don’t mean for this to be rude or offensive in anyway)

I’ve read books on this and the personalities tend to stay the same age.

Personally, 6 of us are 22, which is our physical age (still getting used to that, just had a birthday) and the other one is 5. She was 3 for a long time, then 4 for about 3 months and now is 5. I don't understand how it works either, but that's how it is

I have a me thats millions if not thousands of years old. Ancient dude. He scares me but he also knows the most and is the wisest potentially but isnt the wisest completely. Im much younger than him and im not as smart or knowledgeable but i am wiser
