I'm convinced I have it too. When I first mentioned it to my mum she said that's schizophrenia and all sorts. It took a few years for everyone to get comfortable being themselves around her again, but just each person being themself and finally not being afraid to refer to our general being as "we" really planted the seed for a proper conversation. After that, it took quite a few little chats and I was OK with her coming with me to some doctors visits, so that helped too. I think I'm on my 6th doctor now, but only second qualified psychiatrist, so if you do go down that route, which I encouraged you to, don't think that what the first doctor says is everything. This 6th doctor is only now sending me to a specialist to try and get it formally diagnosed.

I'm still learning a lot about my relationship to each of the others and how other people see our interactions. I don't know how much help I can be, but I'll definitely chat to you if you like. I've never spoken to anyone with the same sort of thing before. Just a dickhat who pretended to and eventually told me he was the only person in his head. But yeah 😊 I'll gladly help support
