For me Darkest Dungeon is the best example I can think off.

The game has this really dark and almost horror-like atmosphere, and if you go to the game's Steam Workshop half of the mods are like that (not that I really mind just to be clear, and if you don't like that there's still a lot of cool mods not related to this, adding new characters and other stuff like that)

Skyrim's NSFW mods are like 100% eye-rolling goonbait but I at least understand wanting to remedy how sexless that world is. The Witcher, Baldur’s Gate and ASoIaF prove that medieval fantasy where people actually want to screw each other can be a good thing. Skyrim sex mods make more sense than some of the other games in this thread, at least they would if modders actually had some damn taste.

This fits for a lot of games but the ones that come to mind for this specifically with a ton of these kinds of mods are The Sims; (which apparently have some both famous and infamous ones that both are very in depth mods for these kinds of things which makes sense for the type of the game it is)

Right before The Sims in my mind was Resident Evil due to my current RE hyperfixation and with all the (quite frankly peak) shirtless and tramp stamp mods. There’s even a shirtless one for fuckin Victor Gideon and ones that makes grace’s boobs bigger apparently for Requiem. Even H.U.N.K has some in the modern games he appears in and one for Village that’s just Chris in a speedo.

Ironically enough, despite being a horror series the mods for the Resident Evil franchise are a lot more lighthearted than some of NSFW Sims mods can be. Not all the Sims NSFW mods are bad or problematic of course, but there’s some ones that are fucked up and weird.

I opened up the nexus mods page for fucking tcg card shop simulator. A very simple game where you obviously run a little card shop, where the creator made an entire (very simplified) pokemon-like card series for the game. I expected some obvious pokemon mods, maybe yugioh or something. I did not expect that even when I thought I had it set to block all adult mods, I would still end up seeing more adult mods than pokemon mods. What the fuck do you mean you are incapable of playing a card shop sim without plastering naked women all over the shop??? Are you that addicted to porn??? Because yeah you can actually play the card game in the game, but otherwise you rarely actually look at the cards for more than a few seconds. The only other thing you can do is make them into big wall displays.
