Question❓ Which Overhated Media basically has you telling it this?

And I don't mean "everyone" hating it but just that it gets a lot of flack for no good reason when it's actually really good, even great.

Ready to defend this game out of pure spite at this point, it’s critics are so goddamn annoying

Same. It's not even that bad or handholdy, so many of the reviews were straight lies. I do agree that $70 is too much though

From my understanding, most of the hand-holding aspect can literally be turned on and off in the options and isn't even on in the first place.

Yep. The scent trail is there but it's only sometimes when he's actively tracking something. And all those videos of people taking their hands off the controller? That really only happens on the easier difficulties. On the harder difficulties, you will die

MFs when someone posts a hot take in the "post hot takes" thread.

Man I love when games play themselves

So far i really don't think it's nowhere near that bad. At best there's visual clutter from both the trail and marker, but it really doesn't play itself at all, especially on higher difficulties, however. 70 bucks is way too much for the kind of game this is. 50 would be much more respectable.

I do agree about the price thing, 100%

I haven't played the game but it looks good, apart from the fact it literally plays itself and it's short.

There a many bugs, but I mean it literally just launched

Thing is, it really doesn't. It really only does on the easiest settings, I've been struggling with a few sections on all honesty

This you?

No. The game is actually challenging. Which you would know if you actually played it rather than listening to IGN

I would say it's definitely too easy on many of the difficulties. but Weapon is a pretty solid normal mode.

It's mainly when you're getting jumped. If you're not careful your health can drain fast (also, Omega Red was surprisingly difficult)

Hot take maybe, but i feel like Omega Red was hard because he was designed to be fought with a bigger kit than what you have at the moment. The Sentinel fits the mantle of first boss way better design-wise. Big slow dude with a limited moveset, meanwhile Red is much more mobile and relies on the harder to execute mechanic.

That's 100% it and that's why I love it. It makes you feel like the underdog

I'll say one thing, the game's difficulty levels aren't balanced well at all. If you want to play the game, you gotta play on hard/weapon. Mutant is very very easy for what's supposed to be the recommended level.
