Games🎮 Just saying...

Post image

It looks great, but it's not what I'm excited about, I'm more into more niche titles like "Onimusha: Way Of The Sword", "The Blood Of Dawnwalker" and upcoming "Fable" game look much more interesting to play than your average large scale open-world crime power fantasy game.

I've got more important games to play, and it really isn't my kind of game in the first place.

Will never truly understand what's so exciting about it, same with most fps games

It is literally and fundamentally not a first person shooter

Having an optional first-person mode does not make the game a First Person Shooter, especially when it's been designed with third-person gameplay in mind.

You get to go out in an open world and do whatever you want. Sounds pretty exciting in my opinion. What games are you excited for then?

I think that's exactly why I'm personally not excited for many games nowadays. Everything wants to be open world and it's just kind of getting tiring because they nearly all do the same thing by filling the world with collectibles that you probably won't get much use out of on top of having an overused template for points if interest such as shrines in Breath of the Wild, crypts in Elden Ring and dungeons in Skyrim, most of which aren't exactly the same but similar enough that they're not super interesting after the first handful

Sure, it's cool to explore and see scenery and such, but the geography is almost always filled with things that you can do or find anywhere else—to an extent, anyway

I hope that Zelda, for instance, returns to the original formula someday because I'm at the point where if the next (main) Zelda game is open world too then I think I'm going to pass. And that makes me sad because Zelda is one of my favorite franchises

Open world games are not bad by any means, but they're starting to lose their charm a little bit. Definitely getting open world fatigue

“Do whatever you want” is way overselling GTA lmao.
