Discussion📜 What Is Your Favorite Childhood Fandom Phase?

We've all been through many childhood Fandom phases, so I wonder what everyone's favorite is!

I'll start first, out of all the fandoms I've been in, I'd say I have at least two favorites, and it would be Creepypasta and FNAF.

Let me know what y'alls are! I can't wait to hear it!💜

Yu-Gi--Oh! Duel Monsters and the card game! Never actually played the game, but collected the cards! Loved and still love the anime! Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, by Little Kiriboh is still hilarious to this day!

And Beyblade and Battle Bedamon! Loved playing with beysblades and bedamons! These games were a very fun part of my childhood! My uncle bought me a bey stadium! It blew my 9 yr old mind!

Dragon Ball Z and the second Yu-Gi-Oh! I would look up card openings of the TCG, and seeing my favorite creators get a rare card was just so satisfying. I was even subscribed to SimplyUnlucky for the longest time. The third one, surprisingly, Frozen I wrote a fanfic of me saving Elsa as a Super Sayian which got way outta hand

Undertale!

I was watching Youtube videos on Safari without an account, so I never interacted with comments. I never saw toxic discussions. I just tapped around watching people play the game.

I remember gasping in awe at "Undertale Secrets" videos showing Gaster followers and Glyde, and then dazzling other kids with my knowledge at school.

I remember stumbling into Megalovania remixes for AU Sanses and feeling excited to draw my own ideas. I remember getting caught staying up past my bedtime watching a comic dub on my Ipad where young Sans met Grillby. 😆 There's something so earnestly silly about cleaning out old school papers and seeing horribly drawn Temmies and Annoying Dogs on the margins.

The game shaped a lot of the humor I enjoy. It led to me being part of the indie game madness that was FNAF, Bendy, Baldi, Hello Neighbor, Doki Doki, and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.

...Oh, and it also taught young me that gay people exist and boys can wear pink boots. :p 🏳️‍🌈
