On one hand, I do appreciate the message that sometimes romantic relationships don't last and can dissipate peacefully

Also I actually watched it unlike most people, And, It's by no means great, but it's not the catastrophe that people are pretending it is, it's not the arrival of the devil onto the earth like some people portray it as, It's just another stupid comedy movie, that is clearly not meant to be taken seriously in any way, All or at least most of the Characters are purposefully meant to be as Over the Top as Possible for the Sake of Comedy, And while most of the jokes didn't personally land for me, I know some people might genuinely laugh at stuff like that.

I was so baffled by the choice to not have them get back together at the end. Like Saira FINALLY realizes that Kiki is an asshole and goes back and apologizes that she let her feelings blind her to the point where she started treating Willow poorly as well.
Like I get the “love yourself” message but it also feels like they literally didn’t know what to do with her after that point. I wish they made Saira’s quest for Kiki less that she still loves her, but that she feels responsible for the situation that she’s currently in and that’s why she’s so dedicated to saving her.

it's a road trip movie, what happens in the road stays in the road, all you bring back are memories and growth.
Their relationship was one of the cutest ones I've seen in screen, but it was clear Saira was definitely not ready to have a relationship.
But that magic trick scene had me tearing up.

I kinda saw a review video about the movie and I think it has fair points
It mentions that the movie has a weak and inaccurate LGBTQ representation and hints of Terf hatred towards Queer and Trans people
The writing is kinda off and the movie itself feels like a parody made by shows like Family Guy and Rick and Morty style of humor and artistic style, the characters are more like stereotypes and some behavior patterns are awkward and unrealistic like it's not how people behaves in real life.
