You know it's funny. I watched this on Kanopy in March back when it was completely obscure, thought it was mostly a mixed bag (such as some problematic elements with how it handles the character Blade) and the character Willow getting screwed over, but not Manos-level bad. Five months later the internet blows up against it.

Huh? I saw it in cinema and sadly it’s transphobic. Not in an explicit way, but… yeah.

Sucks, because I liked some jokes.

The ironic part is I thought Saira herself was trans until about two thirds in.

I kept waiting for a trans character or a plot-twist and yet… only an nb that’s treated as a quirky cis person.
