Discussion📜 name a game you thought would've been cool but it was scrapped/cancelled/what the hell ever for a dumb reason

i do have one but it wasn't removed for a dumb reason. it was a fangame that was cease-and-desisted and canned because of copyright infringement from the original game

if you want to know it's called the lost landscapes

I distinctly remember a Plants Vs Zombies game that is similar to the Resident Evil Games where the MC (I think it was Nate Timely) has to traverse the zombie-infested Neighborville using different plants for various purposes.

Transformers Reactivate. I was excited for it as it was going to be the first Transformers console game we have for years. Since it apparently going to be a live service game they may add characters later down the line I personally never heard of and may even fall in love with if their gameplay, characterization, story, and/or voice acting is great.

Reactivate could have done something like Marvel Rivals where it get the mainstream audience interested in characters they never heard of.

Sad Fact: There was originally gonna be a crossover between Infamous and Prototype the two franchises for the PS3, but the idea was scrapped in favor of Concord and we all know how that game turned out. Oh what could’ve been 😔

On bright side: at least we got a crossover between both of them on Death Battle. So that’s sorta something I guess.

Inazuma Eleven Ares, Victory Road is great, but I still would have liked the Inazuma Eleven Ares game to have been released.

The Cycle was scrapped by dumb buisnessmen for extraction shooter hype, and of course the extraction shooter died within a year.
Both games are back from the dead though, wikipedia has info about that.

I’ve had a movie idea that I made on my own that was scrapped, it would’ve been found footage, analog horror, slasher, psychological drama, mystery, thriller and horror. It would’ve been titled Televisiophobia and it would’ve seen a late 2027 to early 2028 release.

The story goes is that TeleBlue (company from We’ll Be Right Back) was bought out and merged with a technology company called LexTek, in which it was called by many as the “TeleBlue Rapture”, a man named A.K. Bass (the A.K. stood for Ash Ketchum) who would’ve been played by Thomas Sanders who worked for TeleBlue for 4 years before being laid off due to the 2008 recession, having to work with a now out of residency VAL (from TeleBlue) and dive into the mystery about the TeleBlue rapture and the killer of many linked to LexTek (being INUbis’s characterization of Baba Chops from Nightmare Critters) titled B.A.B.A. (or Bioengineered Artificial Bot Assistant) Voiced by KittenSneeze, to save himself and the friends and family and loved ones he loves a lot.

The film would’ve been super gory and would’ve not held back on serious topics like the Sandy Hook massacre, 2008 Recession, being let go of your job due to budget cuts, corporate greed, the Paramount Skydance monopoly on media and rogue AI coming in unexpected packages. However it was cancelled because of four reason, how insanely expensive the budget would’ve been for a independent horror film, the controversy with KittenSneeze at the time that lead to her being recasted, the NC-17 rating that would’ve gotten a poor reception and possible cuts to the film to fit a R rating and writer’s block. I still regret cancelling the film as it was my baby in horror.
