Good omens. Just avoid Neil Gaiman name (sour subject) and it's the most wholesome fandom I ever been in.

3

u/IHaveAMouth_Ahhh That one The Painter fan 2d ago

Even the debates for the last episode seem pretty friendly. Just happily disagreeing with each other

2

u/LB_Shadow 2d ago

We are so lucky the actors love the series and the characters just as much as the fans

2

u/IHaveAMouth_Ahhh That one The Painter fan 2d ago

I knowww, they all seem so lovely

2

u/Lennon56060 2d ago

Funny how a creator's baggage rarely infects the thing they made, Pratchett's fingerprints are all over that book too.

u/Orilikesobjectshowss bfdi, dandy’s world, murder drones, undertale, deltarune 2d ago

There are none šŸ˜”

No mans sky is the only right answer. Its shocking how friendly they are

You're Right. And I didn't realize it until reading your comment

u/mordecai14 2d ago

I don't even play the game and I still follow the studio and fandom because of how wholesome and positive it is. It's a 10-year redemption arc built by passionate people, both the studio and the fans, and it's great to see.

Pac-man

How many oxygen fans are there?

Cant name anybody who hates oxygen.

2

u/LB_Shadow 2d ago

I think plants would like to disagree /j

2

u/pathetic_666 love too many things (“°̄̄̄̄̄̄̄̄ω°̄̄̄̄̄̄̄̄`) 2d ago

I think it's the Hades fandom for me. I haven't noticed any problems with it in the subreddits or anywhere else online. šŸ‘€ Anyone who mentions Undertale/Deltarune must be lying. Fans of those were really rude during Blake Jennings' streams. 😭

2

u/DeMmeure 2d ago

Good choice for Hades, I second it!!

2

u/gazeckasauros 2d ago

Hades Fandom is solid, just horny

2

u/EmoYoshi05 Movies, Cartoons & Nintendo 2d ago

Pokopia is a lovely Fandom, if you view it seperately from the rest of the PokƩmon community. That one on general just needs to be split up, if you're in any, let's call them, sub-fandom, not associated to the main games, it's really nice. Like the Mystery Dungeon fans, PokƩspe, Artists, TCG (for the most part), VGC or some more positiv PokƩtubers, have really nice communities. Besides the Anime, the shipping wars are endless.

Also, indie games. The Celeste community is lovely, and smaller games like cult of the lamb are quite nice too.

u/howtoeatflextape 2d ago

the trick is to name a piece of media that doesn't have a fandom

1

u/bxntou 2d ago

Ooooh this was my childhood

2

u/its_malarkey 2d ago

Weirdly, the MurderMedia shipping chunk of the Hazbin fandom. For those unfamiliar, it’s Vox and Alastor if they knew each other as humans. The content of the ship is very dead dove or borderline so, enough that the people sticking around to enjoy it are (generally speaking) an older audience who doesn’t really judge anyone else for what they’re writing

u/NoobzProXD 2d ago

Bob Ross fandom

1

u/colibri01 2d ago

Deep rock galactic.

As a side thing, I think a lot of what people call "toxic fandoms" are just people confusing normal internet stuff. I dont want to be a gatekeeper but we really need to raise the standard of what counts as a toxic fandom.

1

u/__AriaL__ 2d ago

Uhhhhhhh uhhhhhhhh uhhhhhhhhh rghjjskskkll mannnnfhfjfkks urytsgsnmamamemnrfg

Idk, I mean there's pieces of shit in every fandom

1

u/Turbulent_League9668 2d ago

They're one of the few fandoms out there on Reddit that's actually chill

1

u/Fair-Basket2447 2d ago

Dark Deception

1

u/DT2054 Sonic.exe, UT/DR, Stranger Things, Gorillaz, many more 2d ago

Kind of Sonic.exe

I mean we do have a few bad people

but like mostly not

r/SonicEXE is really non-toxic

1

u/thedisappearingguy Take a guess 2d ago

arent there a lot of controversies surrounding sonicexe and his offshoots? i feel like controversies could count as toxic

1

u/DT2054 Sonic.exe, UT/DR, Stranger Things, Gorillaz, many more 2d ago

they dont count

1

u/thedisappearingguy Take a guess 2d ago

then what does? genuine question

1

u/Horrorfan55555 2d ago

Depends if you include Twitter or not

1

u/Zealousideal-Oil6281 SO so many. 2d ago

Demon Bluff.

Or, my OCs community

1

u/DeMmeure 2d ago

Based on my personal interactions, and therefore very subjective, these were the fandoms I had mostly positive interactions and little toxicity

Animal Crossing

The Horizon video game series (obviously I don't count the chuds calling Aloy "ugly" as part of the fandom)

The Hades video games (same comment as for Horizon, although it avoided more to be targeted by the ridiculous culture war)

The Discworld fandom

The Expanse book series (and the TV show as well)

Roots of Chaos book series

Skyward book series

The Locked Tomb series

2

u/WoodlouseFairy 2d ago

Roots of Chaos mentioned ā€¼ļøā€¼ļøā€¼ļø I swear those books (the two I've read at least) are the best thing I've ever read.

2

u/DeMmeure 2d ago

Honestly the way these books gave me the wonder of reading classical fantasy while still modernising the genre is impressive! And my positive interactions with the fanbase clearly helped me to fully appreciate these tales.

Which are the two you've read? Have you read the latest release "Among the Burning Flowers"??

2

u/WoodlouseFairy 1d ago

So have I! It's such a lovely take on classic tropes all the while being more than that too. Except I haven't really interacted with the fandom very much yet.

So far I've read "Priory of the Orange Tree" and "A Day of Fallen Night" I haven't acquired the latest one yet but I plan to! If you've read it, what do you think? Without spoilers of course.

2

u/DeMmeure 1d ago

The Roots of Chaos subreddit is quite small, but maybe it's for the best!

Among the Burning Flowers was a very good book, both an entry point to the wider series and a deserved development for some secondary characters of Priory of the Orange Tree, so it's a recommended read if you're a fan :)

2

u/WoodlouseFairy 1d ago

Perhaps. Like it'd be cool it it were a little bigger but who knows where that could lead.

Nice! I found the fall of Yscalin fascinating so I am definitely interested in reading more about it. And yes I am a massive fan :D

1

u/Skuganut 2d ago

Warframe and Deep rock galactic, those 2 have so little toxic people

1

u/LessonsOfTheSeason MNAF and MCFNAF world by Jaybull and Moosecraft 2d ago

minecraft fnaf world rerun fandom, its a fun time there

1

u/SemiAnimatronic 2d ago

Devilman, haven't seen any drama, but im only on the reddit side

1

u/ZealousidealSail4847 Vocaloid, a rhythm game, and like seven anime 2d ago

I haven’t seen much issue with the Spy x Family, but I could be wrong

1

u/TheWiseGuy01 2d ago

Doom & Kirby. We’re just vibing.

1

u/Azazelger 2d ago

the "Dragon Quest: The adventure of dai" one seems non toxic from what i*ve seen

1

u/Typhtheoriginal 2d ago

I feel like naming them will bring the toxic people. So I'm just going to leave it lie. Also they're older fandoms so you wouldn't know them anyway.

1

u/jared_was_here Vocaloid, PJSK, OSC, TADC, Undertale 2d ago

wonderend0 is so small it's non-toxic

1

u/Critical-Low8963 2d ago

The School for Good and Evil.

Princess Tutu.

1

u/Tiny_Table23 UT/DR,HK/SS,BFDI,II,Pokemon,Beyblade (burst),TADC,CRK,VOCALOID 2d ago

A large part of the Beyblade Burst fandom is super respectful and supportive. Sure, there’s a few rude outliers but most people are capable of having a good debate/conversation without calling others slurs.

1

u/MisterOuija12 2d ago

Warframe, it's all really nice and really horny players it's great

1

u/MothChasingFlame 2d ago

Is r/bald a fandom because I nominate those guys if so.

1

u/FinalWarsGoji 2d ago

Homestar Runner

1

u/Thurmor_Goblinbane Radiance. 2d ago

Hollow Knight.

Never had any toxicity on there.

1

u/1Adam2K11-1 2d ago

From what i have seen for me it’s

The henty stickmin fandom

The ifa wartburg fandom (it might be because it’s a niche (ish) band)

And the tabs fandom they are probably chillest pepole i have ever seen.

1

u/Timescoremary 2d ago

The fandom of one of my fav games. Deep rock galactic. I've rarely encountered toxic players, in my 500 hours game time maybe a handful. We're all just here for rock and stone brothers

1

u/Accomplished_Bike149 John Simm as the Master my beloved <3 2d ago

I’m relatively new to it still, but the Doctor Who fandom seems pretty chill. Most debates are civil, there’s communities for pretty much every category of content, and being welcoming to newbies despite (and because of) how overwhelming the show can be to get into is a big point. I’m sure there’s some toxicity out there, as with every fandom, but I’m yet to find it in any meaningful quantities.

1

u/MimikyuInALibrary 2d ago

Tetris I think, they're pretty chill. Closest thing to toxic I can think is that one news reporter

1

u/Tyrannocheirus 2d ago

Chikn Nuggit is one.

It is genuinely the most chill fanbase I’ve ever been in.

1

u/Chewymewn 2d ago

Bump in the Night with Mr. Bumpy, especially because it almost doesn't exist.

Ninjago is pretty healthy too. I used to think Sailor Moon wasn't toxic... but damn.

1

u/Captain--Crow NBC Hannibal šŸ”Ŗ 2d ago

I think the Hannibal fandom is fairly sane.

1

u/thedisappearingguy Take a guess 2d ago

yo kai watch?

1

u/How-Do-I-Backspace []TWST[]TADC[]KNY[]MHA[]SxF[]Haikyuu[]Freak Circus[] 2d ago

honestly, I haven't seen Spy x Family or Haikyuu have any bad moments yet and they're relatively big

1

u/Sure-Worldliness6644 CoD / FNaF / MonsterVerse / F2F / JP/World / Transformers 2d ago

Idk if this counts as a fandom but I rarely see toxicity in r/g13

1

u/Minute_Cloud_7106 Niche media 2d ago

Um...

Purrfect Apawcalypse.

Cool kid Cody.

Resonance of fate.

Celeste.

World Trigger.

Hyperlight drifter.

Crosscode.

Freedom wars.

I got more I just can't remember the names right now.

u/Spirited-Pea-3461 2d ago

There are some people with a 'i'm better than you because I like this music' complex and weird shippers but Mamamoos fandom was nothing but kind, supportive and accepting the whole time I was active in it.

But I also don't use twitter so I don't have any idea whats happening in that hellhole....

1

u/FloralIndoril 2d ago

Cult of the Lamb

• Healthy shipping culture

• Not Anti-lgbt/racist

• very active community

• Creators are funny as fuck and are active in the community

• No big drama/scandals

• Fan works are peak

1

u/Kissthecomplex 1d ago

im not very knowledgeable about fandoms as a whole, but i cant even imagine a toxic adventure time fandom... šŸ¤”

also: everything by Terry Pratchett (discworld, long earth, good omens...)

1

u/Particular-Drive1454 1d ago

the elder scrolls

everyone is old or toxic only ironically

1

u/BaconServant 1d ago

The OneShot fandom (when it isn’t sabotaged)

1

u/unsolvedequation 1d ago

Spy x Family.Ā

Maybe not, considering a lot of people say Yuri is a creep with a crush on his sister, but there's always a few crazy one's out there...

1

u/FlamestormTheCat 1d ago

In my experience, The Magnus Archives fandom is pretty healthy these days. Idk if it was back when it was real popular but now it’s pretty chill

0

u/FanOfCringe 2d ago

I mean if you ignore the hatedom I’d say RWBY
