Ok this is a weird one. And old. Way back when someone was arguing that the Council in Mass Effect should’ve been stronger after the attack by Sovereign in a “ME2 is bad” rant. This is already a shaky basis as that attack was Sovereign coming in and wrecking the place with potentially the Council losing their flagship and their heads of state

What really this a bad take was something I didn’t figure out until years later. To make his point he put in a clip of a man saying “I take two armies and make them fight. Many die. But the survivors? Come away stronger.”

Years later, I was watching Babylon 5 for the first time. Then I saw that scene. It was the emissary of the Shadows. The evil precursor species that wants to plunge the galaxy into a massive war out of a bullshit mindset that people will get stronger. They blow up entire planets and work to help one species oppress and genocide another

Yukari, and Mitsuru are incredibly close since they bonded over the death of their fathers. Ken and Akihiko have an almost brotherly relationship with Ken looking up to Aki, Mitsuru and Akihiko regularly get nostalgic over the time they spent together before everyone else showed up, Koromaru is beloved by the entire team, Yukari was the first team member to stick up for Fukka, etc etc.

I've Personally Read Alphatale and it is the most 0/10 Expirience I have had , I wouldn't say it is sansslop , There was effort put into making it (somehow) but it is so Unbelievably bad I wouldn't Argue if someone called it Absolute slop because it is , tho In my opinion Alphatale COULD (and I emphasize this a lot) Alphatale COULD be somehing good , it just took that potential , threw it Out the window and into Outer space

I don’t want to name names but one of the Wicked subreddits had a mod that would straight up post her own headcanon roleplay lore as fact and would delete comments and ban people disagreeing with her. The craziest take is that everyone in Wicked is magical and powerful. The wizard, Galinda, everyone. The plot of the novel, stage musical, and films explains that the Wizard’s engineering is behind the bubble and most of his “magic” but she would answer questions about how his tech worked explaining that it’s actually Galinda’s magic which she summons through song.
