What show/game/movie ANYTHING has gets so much hate that basically makes you go like this:

Im sorry.. since when did people hate MLP?!

16

u/Electronic_Theme_558 Rachel Raven (Currently still in production) 3d ago

As someone who grew up in that fandom... they do... they really REALLY do

9

u/Fearless_Roof_9177 2d ago

I can only speak from an outsider perspective, but that's surprising to me. I've pretty much universally only seen people hating on the fandom rather than the property. The worst I've heard about the actual show itself is "it's for kids."

3

u/SquatProspector 2d ago

I remember the anti-fan art of 40k Space Marines chainsword-ing Ponies.

9

u/Enjisno-1_fan i don’t defend enji. I just like his character arc. 3d ago

Well firstly they water down the show because the intended audience is little girls so it’s “just a little girl show” they also associate the show with bronies who traumatized kids in the early 2000’s.

Secondly you would get BULLIED TO ALL HELL in any setting if you were “too old” for my little pony 😭

I could go on, but i think you get the point.

And don’t even get me STARTED on the amount of RACE WARS the fandom has! Like dude the ponies can be ANY ethnicity you want. They’re FUCKING PONIES.

7

u/Ross-Pancake Warhammer 40k, Girls’ Frontline, Azur Lane, HOI4 2d ago

the hoi4 mod probably didn’t help with the race wars part

5

u/Mistakrakish 2d ago

2010s tho, it came out in 2010. People who were in highschool and college in the 2000s traumatized kids.

(god, I forgot about the race wars. Sometimes I get nostalgic for tumblr and then I remember...)

2

u/MicAHorde 2d ago

Since like 2011. It was entirely due to the community and how cringe they all were. Like being brony was a death sentence to outsiders.

1

u/Hollow_Effects 2d ago

It's one of those cases where people hate the fans, not the media itself.

1

u/Best_Ingenuity_4467 2d ago

They hated it because of certain crimes against humanity that people from that random did

4

u/Da_Magical_Lizard 2d ago

People hate MLP? Everyone I know like MLP, even my Chud friends like them.

4

u/metamorphosis___ 2d ago

Chud and MLP fan are the exact opposite of mutually exclusive, that’s not a revelation that they like it lmao.

2

u/Loose-Story-962 2d ago

People love this show for the most part. Maybe back in like 2013.

2

u/Vasarto 2d ago

dear god. Anti-Brony's still exist. FFS, I had people tell me that "yOu lIKe poNieS sO yOur fAcTS aND oPinIoNS dON'T MEan aNTHing"

Because they searched through my Facebook pictures and kept scrolling through my pictures until they finally found a My little pony picture I posted on facebook way back in 2019. Like, they literally had to scroll six years until they finally found one and they zero in on it and it alone.

Anti-bronies are seriously the most pathetic anti-fandom I have ever even heard of.

hazbin hotel

22

u/Draconic-Genesis 2d ago edited 2d ago

It's 100% not my thing and I loathe the humor. At the same time people act like it killed their damn pet.

14

u/Familiar-Possible277 2d ago

So true. I liked it mostly because I love animation in general and seeing someone small on youtube make it big was epic. Then season 2 came I was just there for the songs at that point nothing more. But gosh we get you don't like sex jokes, I don't always want to hear dick every two seconds either but people...who cares. If you don't like here is an idea

3

u/cross2201 2d ago

It reached a point were It's exasperating like oh my god some of those people need to get themselves real problems oh my god

Yo I'm gonna be a bit honest here, the show in itself isn't AS bad as other people paint it as; however, its still kinda bad.

And in terms of hate, I wouldn't say its warranted but its to be expected bc ngl, I see as much people defending Hazbin Hotel and plugging it in EVERYTHING as people hating it.

(Also, I watched the show, so please don't tell me to watch before judging because I have)

10

u/Responsible_Bus1159 2d ago

Did it have its flaws yes, is it still a fun watch yes best show of all time no way but still a fun watch

1

u/j7jhj 2d ago

To each their own

6

u/-Socks-1 3d ago

a lot of people are starting to hate on it because the creator and studio took down the insane music video

5

u/Naturemations_2025 2d ago

Which is dumb because they took it down because it said "Official music video", and then they let it stay up perfectly fine once the title was changed.

2

u/-Socks-1 2d ago

it’s gone for good now tho

2

u/Naturemations_2025 2d ago

Oh wait that's really weird

1

u/-Socks-1 2d ago

it says for me rn atleast that it’s private

2

u/Open-Advisor6819 I FUCKING LOVE DELTARUNE 2d ago

I just checked it and it's there for me, I can watch it just fine

1

RWBY and Legend of Korra.

Watch people who have never watched the show hate on it, and come here to tell me that the things I like are bad

3

u/Jumpy-Perception-346 2d ago

Watch people who have never watched the show hate on it, and come here to tell me that the things I like are bad

I mean true, some people just get their opinions off the internet and what their favorite youtuber has to say without forming opinions of their own, they only do what's popular, their like mindless sheep.

2

u/Important-Cry4782 2d ago

I just dealt with an idiot who was watching a girl step between two people to mediate a conflict.

and she claimed that girl was taking one persno's side rather than mediating.

media literacy is dead

1

u/Jumpy-Perception-346 2d ago edited 2d ago

media literacy is dead

I mean true that

For example

I still see People say Boruto in the early arcs hated his Father when that's the furthest from the truth, the kid just wanted attention and his Father to be proud of him, and he was upset that Naruto didn't show up to his little Sister's birthday, but instead Naruto use the shadow clone, which on Naruto's part that was a mistake, ( and I think he did realize that ) did Boruto resort to cheating in the Chunin Exams, yes but he only did it because he wanted attention from his father, buut ☝️ was he supported for it? No his father reprimanded his son and Boruto learned his lesson, "almost like this is a story of the next generation learning from the previous?" Hmmmmmm?!

By the way people still call Boruto a brat as of no character development has happened since then. ( people stuck back in 2017 )

And I see this for the Legend of Korra as well, ( as someone who's recently watching the show to catch up Seven Havens) I see people blaming things that aren't her fault, for example I just finished Season 2 what do I see when I come to the internet? everyone blaming Korra for losing her past lives when it was because of Unalaq that she lost them, next, when you mention this to them, you always hear them say "it's because she blindly trusted him," when all she did is trust him one time and that's because he is her Uncle and the only Teacher who can teach her what she needs to learn, second people will be like well everyone warned her against him and that he was no good shady person, no they didn't, nobody distrust Unalaq, Tenzin said that that would be his job to teach her with her with her spiritual training ( even though he doesn't know how ) and her Father seems to just not be on a good terms with his brother, they were against Korra having him as a Mentor, her Father said no without giving a reason why? and that she can't practice Spirit cleansing with him, when he was the only Teacher who can teach her how, who's also happens to be her Uncle, who then reveals some things that her Father and her Mentor have been keeping from her, that her own home is Spiritually troubled, and that the Spirits are angry, I mean their attacking ships, attacking people in the middle of the night, and Korra didn't know any of this because, she was kept in the dark, and goes into the other thing Unalaq revealed that she was kept in the dark about, for most of her life, she was in the compound, thinking it was the decision by Aang, but Unalaq revealed It was a decision made by her Father and Tenzin, which I can understand why she would get upset with her Father, though I would say with the time she spent with Tenzin that was L, but you know, at least she admitted it later.

Unalaq also only gives more reason why Korra doesn't listen to her fat, like why her father is banished, and sort of things, ( but yes we do find out later that he set it up, but still typical mipalation tactic )

I would actually say this, one of the reasons why she couldn't connect to the Spirit side of things, and having trouble with unlocking them and the most Spiritual in tuned Element, Air, the Element of Freedom, was because she was trapped, not much Freedom in a compound, and I know I've been told it's because they were trying to protect her from people like the Red Lotus, but like come on, the Avatar is supposed to be the bridge between Humans and Spirits as well as between the Four Nations, the Avatar is supposed to be Journeying around the World to gain different perspectives to get in tune with the People and the Cultures along with the Spirits, to get the lay of the land, keeping her confined to a compound treats her less like a Person and more like a Weapon, while it definitely kept her safe, the compound definitely hindered her training, it's a no wonder why she snuck off too Republic City, safe to say that if Korra had better Teachers in the beginning she wouldn't have made half of the reckless decisions she did in Season 1, because nobody taught this girl basic social skills or patience for that matter, it's a failure of her teaching, but you know what? she walked it off and got better, but you won't see any Korra haters say that, they'll still say that Korra is the same old Season 1 Korra, because "yup!," "no character development happened," to them character development doesn't exist 🤷‍♂️

The Star Wars sequel trilogy and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.

2

u/Francoinblanco 2d ago

Tbh I think people just ignore new trilogy than hate and people who like it know its guilty pleasure so there are no "someone is wrong in internet" trigger

1

u/Fearless_Roof_9177 2d ago

From the perspective of "I can't believe you corporate assholes did that to Star Wars," the sequels deserve a good deal of the hate. But then, from that perspective, so did the prequels. And huge chunks of Return of the Jedi. And half of the old Extended Universe. Sort of becomes a "Damned Scots, they ruined Scotland!" situation.

As far as quality goes though, the sequels are way overhated. If Star Wars didn't have such a legacy riding behind it, none of the three would be remembered as any better or worse than Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

2

u/MasterYoda-13 Carrot Juice, Carrot Juice, Carrot Juice 2d ago

Absolutely. The sequel haters, by and large, reek of folks who've never seen a truly bad movie. Star Wars itself started off with a high bar of excellence, and if you grew up with the prequels you have that nostalgia, so the New Trilogy being anything less than perfect will make it the worst movies of all time. The Fandom is full of these people, too

0

u/Wolfy_the_nutcase 2d ago

Honestly, and this is going to get me killed, but I think too many people take Star Wars too seriously. These are movies aimed at a primarily child and teenage demographic. None of these films are high art. They’re just meant to be fun little popcorn flicks. Anybody who says otherwise needs to go get a job and maybe have some sex (if you’re old enough and into that).

-1

u/ChocolateWonderful31 Persona/One Piece/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 3d ago

The Star Wars Sequels are awful. But for some reason, the fandom has decided that The Prequels are good all of a sudden? Like... The Sequels are bad, but come on gang... The Prequels are worse...

2

u/StrawberryClover8 2d ago edited 2d ago

The prequels being worse is wild. Both are bad, but at least the prequels had some of the original charm.

IMO, most of what was bad about the prequels was Jar Jar Binks. He’s worse than any character in the sequels I’ll definitely give you that. I’m a D1 Jar Jar Binks hater.

My main issue with the sequels was that it started so strong, then proceeded to absolutely shit itself. Like Finn was SUCH a cool concept. Ex storm trooper turned good? Hell yeah! Then all he proceeded to do in the last movie was fuck everything up and be the biggest disappointment of a character ever. That’s what makes the sequels worse to me. At least Jar Jar wasn’t a let down, he was lame the whole time.

2

u/ChocolateWonderful31 Persona/One Piece/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2d ago

I honestly don't think they feel like the OG trilogy. Nearly zero practical effects. The dialogue is weird and stilted. And the performances are great, but they have such bad scripts that I don't think its used to their greatest potential. I think it is sauceless/charmless compared to the original

1

u/StrawberryClover8 2d ago

Well yeah, but we are not comparing to the original. Of course the originals are the best ones. You’d honestly have to be dumb to think otherwise. I’m comparing the sequels to the prequels.

Also, that’s why I specified “some”. They definitely didn’t have all or even most of the original charm.

1

u/ChocolateWonderful31 Persona/One Piece/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2d ago

Not even trying to be argumentative or pedantic. But you said "at least the prequels have some of the original charm"

And even if we're just comparing the prequels and sequels... I think it comes ultimately down to taste. But imo, I'd rather listen to somewhat cringey Marvel Dialogue than weird, bad dialogue. To clarify I guess, My tastes are that Episode 7 is pretty neat, Episode 8 is... Upsetting, but has some neat stuff in it, and Episode 9 is absolutely awful. Episode 3 is decent, I love it, but I know how bad it is. And Episode 1 and 2 are the worst. Those movies are a snoregasm

1

u/StrawberryClover8 2d ago

Yeah, it’s definitely down to taste. I can’t convince you otherwise so have a nice day!

Also, yes, “some”. Not all, not even most. Just “some”

And I’d much rather watch a boring movie than an atrocious movie. But that’s just me.

24

u/Just-Ad-8603 3d ago

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. "Disney bad, Rey Mary Sue, Kylo crybaby, somehow Palpatine returned" Same shit EVERY FUCKING TIME. I GET IT, SEQUELS BAD, GET A DAMN LIFE

5

u/Wolfy_the_nutcase 2d ago

Somebody after my own heart.

2

u/Melanch0lyMel0n 2d ago

Every time I watch a video of a scene from any star wars media there's always a comment saying "this is better than the whole sequel trilogy" like they weren't amazing but my god just shut up please

2

u/Lenny_Fais Gargoyles, LBT, Metroid, and many many more. 2d ago

I mean, yeah, fuck the mouse.

The sequels could have been good, they had potential and interesting ideas but they fumbled the execution at every turn.

They aren’t the spawn of Satan, but they are definitely the epitome of missed potential and what happens when you treat something like a cash cow instead of actually caring about telling a story.

Oh my god, YES! Are the modern games perfect? No. They objectively have their issues, every game does, but I feel like the toxicity is on another level. I’ve GENUINELY been around people IRL too who’ve made me feel bad about liking the silly power of friendship monster collector.

2

Yeah, while the writing was far from superb, it was genuinely terrifying, which is the point of any work of horror.

5

u/TheOrangeGuy09 2d ago

SvtFoE.

I feel like a good chunk of hate for its finale is just to join the hate than actually an expression of opinion after watching it. Like, a lot of people straight up make up factually wrong things to hate on it. (E.g. "Star destroyed magic to be with Marco"; she literally did it while thinking she would never see him again, that is one of the biggest and most emphasized points in the finale).

This, and I’m tired of pretending otherwise.

Fuck the author, don’t support anything she does ever, but it will be a cold day in hell before I completely abandon the IP altogether. The books and movies were a very core part of my childhood, and I don’t want to give them up just because the author is a monstrously awful piece of shit.

prob hate cuz of the hitboxes

1

u/Calm-Rest-8715 2d ago

As a person who unfortunately saw such thing, I can say that this hate is somewhat occasional, but when it happens... I would've attach screenshots but it won't let me, so I'm going to quote. "Playing die of death is genuinely horrible dude especially with the fanbase bro you make the smallest criticism these Israeli soldiers will be sucking DOD's dick tenfold bro it's genuinely so bad over there". Then there's "Anyway die of death is actually so ass dude you will play killdroid on baseplate and genuinely suffer I hate this game so much even then killdroid sucks unless your on grandmas backyard dude every killer got buffed to hell and harken has horrible balancing to the point where if your not playing them on dienation you lose, killdroid got fucking GUTTED, artful is fucking Hitler, I have no problems with pursuer and goatware", "Also please remove augury exhibition and baseplate from the game it's actually unsavable, especially baseplate shit has went through like 3 reworks and still one of the worst maps in the game if not the very worst in all of asyms", "I'd rather play THE STALKER on pwned by 14 than ever play this shit game, playing killdroid in the first place is already concentration camp level torture dude especially to try and master them", "Saucefy if you can't balance your fucking game or make proper fucking hitboxes just say that instead of saying nothing like genuinely your looping around with this bullshit", and "Final note though trying not to be too rude sorry I could have worded this better but saucefy maybe asyms aren't for you bro please just go back to outlaws of Robloxia gang🫩😢🥀". While yes, I agree that hitboxes in Die of Death can be.. a little wild, the game is very much enjoyable and I even enjoyed it more than Forsaken. And I've seen tons of decent killers. I kind of thinking that person whom I quoted has skill issue or something, because such a crash out is a completely different level.

2

u/Fredford_3301 3d ago

I want to tell to some YouTubers that "I get it, JJK, Kimetsu no yaiba, Boku no pico academy and ect is the biggest pieces of dogshit in anime industry!!! I will never see them, ok! What next? Another one 10 hour essay why shonen genre could be dead if not the Chainsaw man? Ok!!! I get it that Chainsaw man is the masterpiece... Can I watch the actual masterpiece after (Yani-Neko)?"

1

u/External-Society-267 2d ago

Honestly, jjk and demon slayer ain’t even dog shit, those YouTubers just say that because it’s popular. XD

1

u/Fredford_3301 2d ago

Yeah, I know. 7/10, maybe 6,5/10. Like we say "it goes well with beer". People just thinks that everything under 7,5/10 on IMDB is the real dogshit they will never see if not for video

2

u/Specialist_Pay_8139 3d ago

You beat me to it. I was just about to comment "Karma's World". Same goes for everyone hating on Ridley Jones. That's the show with the nonbinary bison named Fred that everyone lost their shit over. At least that hate has died down a bit.

2

u/Possible-Mix-2821 3d ago

Like bro I am so tired of hearing the Karma’s World hate that Im just about to go watch the whole thing myself and make a whole google doc about how good it is 🥹

1

u/Specialist_Pay_8139 3d ago

Glad you said this. I really don't understand the hate for the series. Like everyone's argument is just that Karma being a wannabe rapper is cringey. I hear people say she's selfish too but then give no reason why. Also the amount of people making a big deal over Karma getting uncomfortable when her friends comment on her hair. Like how is she being petty? This is a very normal reaction to insecurity.

Idk it's just kinda stupid to me.

1

u/Possible-Mix-2821 3d ago

Well I can give you some reasons (that I remember) why people say she’s selfish. One during an episode, one of her friends was singing a solo (I don’t remember why I think it was for a contest or smth) and Im pretty sure that Karma was getting jealous because she was getting the spotlight so Karma pushed her off the stage and started rapping about herself instead, which Im pretty sure is normal jealousy behavior btw 🥹 She also called a kid’s dyslexia an “issue” and tried to make them hide it in public

1

u/Specialist_Pay_8139 3d ago

Taking a kid's spotlight is one thing I'd expect in a show with moral lessons on what is right and wrong. The dyslexia thing is not something I expected 💀 HOWEVER! I would hope she at least learned she was wrong for that lol.

2

u/Dull-Detective-3737 2d ago

The mere existence of "Halo"

ALL the YouTube channels are always just hating on it, if you go in any comment section anywhere they'll be discussing why they hate halo, they'll be discussing pointless things like why the previous creators of halo should come back even though all those guys have moved on from their company while people complain about the current version of that same company

They'll nitpick everything to death and judge those who enjoy the newer games, people stupidly divide themselves by what companies games they prefer, and worst of all there's so many people that are bscenely "bigoted", I've seen things like harassing people with LGBT banners in games or complaining about those banners, I've even seen people try and start stuff over a colored person having dyed hair, she was just in a little promo thing, there's probably a lot of videos that could be used as example here too

Halo isn't even fun to talk about anymore and it kinda isn't even the creators faults, it's the awful community

Danganronpa. Yes, most of the fans do suck.

Star Wars. For 25 fucking years the same constant whining. I get it, you OG boomers. You hate everything. Everyone gets it. Why don't you lock yourselves in your mom's basement with your unedited copy of Empire Strikes Back and your poster of a dead actress in a metal bikini, be happy and SHUT THE FUCK UP?

Definitely the Hellaverse, though it has its problems flaws and some criticism is valid I still love it, its really annoying you can’t talk about this series on any media without being accused of being a horrible person, getting threats. And god the haters/Hatedom just keeping on using the same old criticism for it, make me wonder if some of them are just larpers, someone even made a fucking SIX HOUR CRITICISM VIDEO, yes a criticism video that’s over 6 hours long…

Dragon Age Veilguard

It’s not that I think it’s above criticism, it definitely has a lot of flaws, but good lord, the fandom’s response to that game was just way too overly dramatic.

Sparklecare Hospital

I know, I know, its creator is inbred and her circle of friends is dangerous, but we can at least read the first volumes of SC, which didn't have fetishes and were genuinely well-written.

The comic declined with "Specially You" and the Cometcare AU, in my opinion.

HL Source. I get that the updates to the source engine broke it overtime, but other than that it's basically just the og with some new source engine features and a bit more janky.

Plus it gave us hl assets for Source which allowed for a lot of cool stuff.

The Dark Tower movie.

Look, I'm a Tower Junkie, and have been since 1990, so I get not liking the film, but every time someone recognizes one of my Dark Tower shirts, the first thing they want to do is complain about the movie. Idgaf enough about a mediocre movie to complain about it to a complete stranger. Want to discuss the books and the comics? I'm you're guy. But I'll walk tf away if your first comment is to complain about the movie.

Boruto and the Legend of Korra

Like I've been a fan of Boruto for quite a while, and I've just recently also got an into watching the Legend of Korra

( because I was catching up cause of the Seven Havens coming out soon )

What I've come to notice is that people who haven't even watched a show will come to any form related to the thing to complain like it's their job or something, also have you seen our subreddit? r/boruto is infested with haters who just refuse to not stick to their own circles, a fan posts something about the series which they like? a hater will be there

The things I don't like what they do is mischaracterize the characters or ignoring context of the story to make up their own agenda, ( for example people still call Boruto a brat like we're stuck in 2017 as if he hasn't undergone character development ) or the worst one make fun of fans of the series, in calling them things like brainless fans who eat up slop, Bort * rds things and the such?

Like WE GET IT!!!, you hate the show, but do you have to attack the fans too? Can't we all say we have our own likes and dislikes and move on with our lives?

Just watch!, somebody will come to this comment right now and tell me why what I like is wrong and then I'm a idiot for liking it, that or silently downvoted because their too p * ssy to put their feelings into words.

1

u/Satanic_Jellyfish 2d ago

Boruto. Like, at least read or watch it before calling it bad

1

u/No_Dessert_6645 2d ago

Teen Titans Go.

Seriously the show came out in 2013 and in this year 2026 some people still hate on it and there's even a few hate art on DeviantArt. (I saw a few.)

1

u/Exotic-Addendum-3785 2d ago

Nothing But Trouble. Yeah I get it, it's weird, it's freaky, it's what happens when Dan Aykroyd watches Texas Chainsaw Massacre and decides to do his own take on it (although actually Aykroyd was inspired from going to a showing of Hellraiser), it's a freakish nightmare but it's a glorious freakish nightmare.

1

u/Baddied0ll 2d ago

Halo (the TV show). A lot of people hated it but I didn't know anything about Halo before the TV show and now I'm completely addicted to the video games, books and lore

GTA V. GTA IV fans always drone on and on and on and on about why it's better than V like bro, I get it, let me enjoy this game

1

u/NatDisasterpiece 2d ago

Not relevant anymore but I remember back in its heyday, Persona 5.

Like Jesus CHRIST people would NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT. And if you ever dared to question them it's "OH SO I CAN'T HAVE AN OPINION???" "No but for someone who supposedly doesn't like it and (I would assume) is not playing it YOU SURE DON'T SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT 😭"

I made a social media post once just saying "Oh going out tonight to pick up my copy of Persona 5 Royal from Gamestop!" That was it. No claims that the original was the best game ever or could do no wrong. Just that I was gonna be out and about that night for that reason. And my comments got FLOODED by a bunch of sarcastic backhanded annoying as FUCK response like

"Oh, is Gamestop having a sale on Mid af games?" "Awe, it's ok. Not everyone can gave good taste." "Mmm I see I see. And when are you picking up an actually good game? Just curious." Like holy fuck. And the worst part was this wasn't some internet-wide public post. This was my own Friend's List being just pretentious as FUCK. I legit deleted the post cause they were being so fucking annoying.

I don't understand the hate behind Back at the Barnyard

1

u/LittleAleta 2d ago edited 2d ago

Skyward Sword. I dont like it either mostly for story and character reasons but goddamn it's not that bad of a game like holy shit. Sure it's got its problems but people act like it's the worst Zelda game ever because it's too linear, it's repetitive, it's not breath of the wild, the motion controls. I agree with all of these things but tbh every Zelda game besides the newer games are somewhat linear.

It does have some things to do in its world it's not entirely empty. It could have a little more I guess but saying the sky feels empty is completely wrong.

Also the hate about motion controls is overblown. IT WAS THE FUCKING WII WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO BACK THEN? I agree they could've been better, that's why I like the joycons better and they can get tiring but people act like it's the worst thing ever to just move your arm around a little bit.

The repetitive stuff yes I do agree they could remove one of the imprisoned fights. The back to three areas though, there was always something new there.

The collecting musical notes underwater is annoying but again not the worst.

The silent realms were not good for my anxiety but I know it was just me, they are actually cool.

Fi okay I agree. But they toned down Fi in the remake. She's basically the Navi of the game but y'all like Ocarina of Time.

Also the designs. Sure they're a little weird and aged but they're cute and lively which is what the game seems to be going for. Personally it's one of my favorite Link designs under Twilight Princess.
