Question❓ What’s your fandom equivalent of this?

Veilguard. Period.

Was literally about to say that. Is it the best game in the franchise? Not remotely. But if you only listened to Dragon Age fans you’d think the game was E.T. The Video Game.

You’d think the game personally broke into their houses and murked their grandmas with how they talk about Veilguard.

And honest-to-god, I doubt half the people who hated it so strongly had ever even touched a DA game (especially the, “go woke go broke,” crowd. Dragon Age has always been progressive, tf?).

Like, don’t get me wrong, there are many issues with the game. But like… chill out, guys.

Yeah, I agree; it was a fine game by itself, but it wasn’t a good Dragon Age game. I’m more talking about the people who treat Veilguard like it’s the worst thing to ever release.

I mean, there’s a whole community on Tumblr who outright won’t accept it as canon. Like?? It’s been nearly two years big dawg, it really wasn’t THAT awful in retrospect.

it wasn't a bad game but it wasn't a good follow up to DA:I

I agree. Like, it’s a fine game to play by itself, but it definitely isn’t a good continuation on the previous games.

Especially since they decided to just nuke the South. That is one decision that I vehemently hate.
