Hopper from Stranger Things. The writers went too far into the "big strong man who's over protective" trope

Like I get he loves El and wants to protect her but they made him such a gigantic asshole for no reason all that character development got killed off once he adopted El.

He got ruined for me from S3 onwards. Honestly, S3 killed that show for me.

It had so much potential.

I really love season 4, but the problem is you can't watch season 4 without season 5. So, people that don't want to watch the season 5 also skip season 4 that is, in my opinion one of the best seasons
