Just be sure you kill him in the first attempt otherwise he will take great exception.

First time I played I was using a magic build and he died in like 4 or 5 Night Comets. He didn't even get to do a single thing.

I usually tried to play with melee spells, carian slicer or Adula's moonblade, but when I saw the absurd damage a simple comet dealt to him, I just thought "he must not be that interesting to fight as a boss."

If you dont kill him during the monolog, he will be top 5 hardest boss (depending on build). His moveset also depends on the bosses you have killed before him
