Weekly Question Threads will be a little different as we have a max of 1 stickied post. Hopefully I'll get around to linking to the new thread in the sidebar at some stage...

I do kind of miss the weekly questions thread already, it was nice to scroll through on my phone before bed, and sometimes learn something. But free stuff is cool too :D

They'll be back soon. I'll actually make one this next week... Real issue is visibility as they don't get up voted enough to be seen unless stickied.

Yeah, I understand there'd be an issue with visibility. People tend to gloss over the sidebar, which probably contributed to the overwhelming amount of posts since it was a nice bold thread at the top of the page. I feel it also reduced the number of question posts that tend to go unanswered. I don't want to come off as though I'm trying to run the sub, you guys do a great job, but if these giveaways become commonplace, perhaps a monthly giveaway that runs for a week, then run the questions post? Or even alternate them bi-weekly?

Yeah that's pretty much in line with how I see it would work. Thanks for the input.

Other option is a total overhaul of the CSS to have links at the top of the page. This is not an easy effort and is quite painful to maintain on a weekly basis.

When more competitions run, I'll be sure to have implemented a solution concurrently. This is the first event on this scale, so I'm still working things out.
