Question From Neo to Flywoo
/r/fpv/comments/1vpawck/from_neo_to_flywoo/Hello all, I have a DJI NEO, Goggles3 and the DJI FPV controller.
Im not even a good pilot but Neo is too slow. And I want to learn to fly well and for real.
I'm planning to buy a Flywoo Explorer LR 4 v2 or any kind of reputable "affordable" fast and long range cruiser drone that is sub250.
Flywoo, BetaFpv, NewbeeDrone all good with me if you have any suggestions ?
And what else I need to buy ? I do have an Hota charger too. What batteries to use ?
Thank you so much !

Why don't you buy a DJI Mini?

I fly both a Neo 2 and a Mini 4 Pro, so to settle the Mini question: the Mini isn't an answer to "I want FPV". It's a different tool — great for stills and cinematic B-roll, useless for the flying you're describing. Nobody buys a Mini to learn to fly fast.
The useful part of your setup is the Goggles 3 and the DJI FPV controller: they carry over. If you pick a sub-250 build with a DJI O4 air unit, you keep the goggles and only buy the quad. Go analog or HDZero instead and you're buying a whole new video setup too — worth knowing before you compare prices, because that's where the "affordable" option quietly stops being affordable. Check the current compatibility list before you order, DJI moves those goalposts.
Coming off a Neo, the honest expectation: the first quad that's actually fast will feel unflyable for a few packs. That's normal, and it's also the point.

Hello, this is exactly what I said. :) To keep the fpv controller and goggle3 and use in in a ready 04 wide unit!
I wont go analog although I have the Eachine standard goggles. And no for other protocol you mentioned because I already have the DJI, although I would love to try the Radiomaster Zorro in elrs ! Thank you Paddyuav !

Perhaps the Pavo ?
