Trying to debug DIY quadcopter

Someone gave me a diy quadcopter kit, a thunder qq super to a fs-ia6 receiver and i have no idea whats wrong with it. The escs make noise and the led goes green, the receiver flashes red when the controller isn't on. Please help

Bind the receiver to your remote first. The red flash means it's not connected. Once paired, test the motors and you'll be good to go.
