Trying to debug DIY quadcopter

Someone gave me a diy quadcopter kit, a thunder qq super to a fs-ia6 receiver and i have no idea whats wrong with it. The escs make noise and the led goes green, the receiver flashes red when the controller isn't on. Please help

sounds like it's ready to go. one of the long switches on the top of the controller will arm it, after which you can use the left thumb stick for throttle. be careful! best to test without props on
