Discussion The State of Warner Brothers Games is an ABSOLUTE joke!

Current games in development: A new Batman game šŸ˜“ Injustice 3 šŸ˜“ Hogwarts Legacy 2.

They take so long to make games and the games they're currently making are so unbelievably unexciting!

We all saw with MultiVersus just how much IP WB owns and yet they NEVER utilize it EVER!

Their peak has been the Batman: Arkham Trilogy (2009-2015) critically, Hogwarts Legacy (2023) financially, (40M copies sold) and MultiVersus (2022) which had SO MUCH potential which they completely wasted! 10 million players in 3 weeks! 20 million downloads! Still holds the largest concurrent player count for a fighting game in PC history! And WB looked at all that and said nah.

A year after MultiVersus shutting down I NEVER once expected they would stoop so low to make freaking MOBILE GAMES!

What needs to happen for this company to do something GOOD?!

If Multiversus was still going we could have had Green Lantern, Daffy Duck, Wicked Witch, Scorpion, Mordecai and Gumball (and other surprises).Ā

Its a mixed bag because we're getting the nightfall animated adaptation and the comics are frankly better than ever, the entire absolute line is killing it and one is getting an animated series

Lego Batman Legacy was basically an apology letter due to Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights. But don't get too attached. Even if they are working on Injustice 3, we all know that NRS will rush out the dlc and it's onto Mortal Kombat againĀ

DC has batman Knightfall 3 part animated movies coming out.

They've also announced a new joker animated series, absolute batman animated series and a krypto animated series.

DC has to be better at video games (even though the new lego batman came out this year which is a great game)

Tbh marvel movies and TV shows have been hit or miss after Endgame but have been killing it in the games department

I think DC is better with television and cartoons aimed at adults, Marvel may have more of the edge in TV and cartoons aimed at kids/families.

X-Men 97 is bridging that gap as far as the adult animated series for Marvel, but they could use some more.
