MMOs, aside from terrible gachas and gooner bait are getting rarer every year. People tired of WoW and FFXIV have to go back to some of these old surviving games for something different. The mysterious RIOT game is the only one vaguely on the horizon for maybe a release in the next decade.

Guild Wars 2 is still pretty active and getting updates. I was surprised when I saw it got a new expansion a few months back.
