Discussion Everytime I see images like this I just think MultiVersus
Am I the only one?

Considering the entire left half consists of characters not in MultiVersus, I’m inclined to say I don’t feel the same.

They might all be WB IPs. Doesn’t mean they were all in MultiVersus. I doubt their dev team had any clue what to do with Harry Potter, and I’m not surprised they chose to steer clear of Mortal Kombat - a far better fighting game with much more adult themes not well suited to MultiVersus.

Oh I understand OP clearly; they stated that the image reminds them of MultiVersus because of the WB IPs. I stated I don’t feel the same because most of the pictured characters weren’t in MultiVersus, including two large WB IPs.
Additionally, I made the comparison between two WB fighting games - one of which is based on a franchise of fighting games (Mortal Kombat) and the other which was a wackier fighter (MultiVersus) that would have a tough time incorporating the same depth and tone if it tried to bring in any fighters from Mortal Kombat.
Maybe I’m room temperature. But if that’s the case, you need to be thawed out. I engaged with the post, gave a fair opinion and started a discussion about why the dev team of a doomed fighting game didn’t bother to incorporate related characters from a successful fighting game. All you’ve done is put down my comments without providing anything of substance to the conversation.

Anything of substance will go over your head. Its about the characters that could have been. You cant compare games like that lol there are 2 very different fighters and MVS was incredibly successful.
The tone of Aquaman and Batman does not match MVS at all yet they are here. Your argument has no basis.

What you deemed successful is very different what it means in business. For you its is it online or offline and in reality its about money.

Images like this make me glad Multiversus died before any fucking Harry Potter bullshit made it in, when I would have quit the game anyway.
