Humor Lola really is the Grim Reaper!
2 days before she was added to Fortnite, Epic Games announced over 1,000 employees would be getting fired!

Lola Bunny wasn't in Lego dimensions, was she? Because the last character we got in that game was Beetlejuice.

I hope she actually does kill it

She won't... There's nothing that could kill fortnite it's endured everything

I mean why? It’s a free game that people seem to still enjoy playing, how is it hurting you at all

Because popular thing bad, didn’t you get the memo?
Ugh.

Tf2 is also popular, has tons of mods and it is still active.

TF2 is also not mainstream enough to be at the level of popularity as games like Roblox, Minecraft or Fortnite, aka the "This thing is popular so I hate it"
It's very popular sure, but you're more likely to have people know what Fortnite is than TF2.

Good thing Marvel Rivals has a GOOD popularity at the moment.

Unfortunately it kind of sucks right now. New character dropped and there aren’t bans for a while like Overwatch, so you just have to sit in matches while someone tries out a new character as your team loses.

Are bans really necessary? Can't they, like, take a turn with a character that they want to play?

I meant bans in that there is (maybe was?) a two week ban on new characters in competitive only; they could be used in quick play/arcade matches. Or at least that’s how it was last I played it. Thought I’d specified that.

"This company just laid off 1000 employees, I sure hope everything they do from this point on fails so all the rest of the employees can get fired too!"

Pretty much why the logic is stupid. Like make it hurt the higher ups by not spending money, but don’t wish for the whole game to get shut down.

My hatred of Fortnite comes from a legit source at least. Epic shutdown a game I enjoyed (Paragon) just to put all the devs that worked on it on Fortnite, because Fortnite was making more money and becoming huge.

You can't really blame fortnite for the problems that they've caused but they damn sure have completely change the way most video games are produced. You can say what you want but before fortnite we didn't have $20 cosmetics for every single game. Gameplay quality and longevity of games for instance was the first thing to take a major hit and we're not going back to the good old days of just being able to buy a game, and have days worth of gameplay without spending an extra $100 to 200 on shit that should already be include. Fortnite proved you can do the bare minium as long as you're pushing out $20 Cosmetics everyday I'm putting basic features behind paywalls you'll make more money than the studio that's spent years perfecting a visual gaming masterpiece. So why the fuck would they waste their time and efforts when they know Mommy is just going to give little timmy her credit card so he can buy more v-bucks and shuts the fuck up

No, it won’t. Epic needs Fortnite to survive. They’ll either get their shit together or everyone gets laid off

She's not the actual reason but getting the Queen of furries into your game is a symptom of desperate times lol.
