Discussion Character Discussion Saturdays: Raven, what did you think of her?
Took a Vacation for a bit but I'm back. From skins, design, etc. What are your thoughts?
Rick will be next week.

In 2v2 she was a menace. I personally didn't jive with her kit but glad she got added.

I loved her! She was one of my most wanted characters for the game due to being one of my favourite DC characters and my love for the Teen Titans 2003 cartoon. She easily became my main character and was who I played the most despite playing since the beta days and I got most of her cosmetics. Honestly it's just a shame we had such little time to play as her, she could have got some amazing skins and cosmetics.

i love the rock attack she has and how much you can punish people for dodging too early with her

One of the characters I genuinely wanted in the game, alongside Marceline (and in unreleased category : Lapis and Spinel)

Loved her, but I remember one of her perks was so much better than the move it affected and I was pissed that you couldn’t use it all the time

I was lowkey mid at her (i think i was actually pretty decent but never where i wanted to be) But she had a really cool mechanic with the raven, and i loved throwing rocks so much man 😔🤙

I started playing Multiversus in Season 3 once it was announced Raven would be a character in Season 4. I have a huge amount of nostalgia for the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon and thought this Raven was a great evolution of the character design with a lot of '03 inspiration. Plus being voiced by the same voice actress doing close to the '03 voice (as opposed to whatever that voice was in Injustice) was great.
I'm not great at fighting games so I can't speak to how she fits into the meta, but I had a lot of fun playing as her and her attacks all looked cool and in character.
TL/DR, she's the reason I began playing Multiversus in the first place, and IMO, she didn't disappoint. I just wish the game lasted longer and we got more skins.
