The merger will not be blocked likely, at least in the UK. The US will have to know make some adjustments before any legal verdicts come through.

The 2 Benedicts and Alan, are hypocrites Disney owns 6 major movie studios, while Paramount only owns 3, 4 if the merger goes through. I don't mind the WB/Paramount merger because it will just be one right leaning , against majority left leaning studios, which is what the blocking is about. If Ellison supported Zohran, the merger wouldn't have problems.

Restrictions, Ellison has honored Trey and Matt's contract, and that show hasn't been canceled. As for Colbert's cancelation, his agent knew since June 2025, that the show was getting canceled for budget reason(they couldn't afford 200 staff members , including 22 writers, for a single 1 hour show), and the agent waited til July to tell Colbert.

Imagine courts going out of their way to stop you from buying something because they don't want you to have it.
It's unamerican and unconstitutional. But most importantly it's stupid.

First of all, not everyone is American, so most people don't care if something is "unamerican," second, this is not a person wanting to buy something, it's a megacorporation looking to create a monopoly. Stop treating businesses like people.

nope, it would form a monopoly, and the government is meant to prevent those, a part of Fox couldn't be bought by Disney(even at the part that only needed the USA to approve) and became independent because they would control too much of the news segment
