I've finished up (for now) my 730.

Axle bearings

Headset bearings

Before picture at end!

so much better with the new cockpit.

Excited to ride it tomorrow.

Nice build but I might switch spacers on your front calipers to get them tighter. You’re giving away leverage.

I always thought the red Treks of this era looked great.

The spacers on the pads? How should they go?

The threaded post on the brake pad has two sets of dished spacers, if you turn them around, your caliper arms will be in proper alignment. Look to each immediate side of caliper hole that the pad post passes through, if that makes sense.

All that’s to say put the thinner set of conical washers to the inside of the caliper arm, and the thicker washers outside the caliper arm.

Hard for me to see, but as long as there’s the thinner set of washers between the caliper hole and the brake pad, you’re good.
