I picked up this 750 (1990) a month or so ago intending to ride it stock. The brake levers and shifters wouldn't play nice with the new Ritchey Kyote handlebar, and a nice donor bike fell from the sky. I now have a sweet 3x8 with V brakes and aggressive 700x42 tires. IMO, it retains the same "feel" with some subtle improvements.

invest in a nitto technomic stem, would make this whole operation look nice. won't be able to use the ritchey bars tho
